David160:This is the plan for Eko Atlantic City. That red mark is where Landmark is situated. There are still plans to extend the Atlantic City to all the beach areas where Landmark is situated and other beaches. The coastal road is the beginning of that phase of the Atlantic city. Nobody is explaining this part of the development. The owner of Landmark too is aware of this & is not saying about it. Landmark beach would basically disappear because of the Atlantic city but it is not because of any witch-hunting. 2 Likes 1 Share

KennethOkonkwo:Why do you sound so pained that an Igbo person is advising fellow Igbos to divest and reduce investing massively in Lagos real estate? Not like I said Igbos own Lagos. Lagos belong to Yorubas and it is high time Igbos reduce their massive investment in Lagos real estate and allow rich Yoruba sons like yourself to take over Lagos, is that a bad advice? Na wa oh, this hatred for Igbos go kill most of una sha, it is well oh, wonders lol |
Re: "Invest In Lagos At Your Own Peril" - Maryanne Moghalu by franchasofficia: 2:44pm On May 01 |
Gboom:It's not just about landmark saga. Igbos are being codedly and indirectly targeted in Lagos when it comes to real estate and the best thing any wise Igbo man should do now or start doing is to reduce the rate he or she invest in Lagos real estate. There is time for everything in life. Southeast real estate is currently booming, especially Owerri, I speak from personal experience. And for the super rich that have excess, they can diversify abroad where there is respect for rule of law like Europe, US and even East Africa. Igbos must learn and stop the massive investment in Lagos, the future look bleak with how things are going. Na from clap dance de take start. A wise man does not wait until the roof fall on his head. Friends and family members are already heading to the advice. You can have one residential house and maybe office in Lagos but let it not exceed that. You can do short term build and sell without keeping for future. But buying hectres of lands and building massive structures all over Lagos in the name of it yields profit fast must be resisted by wise Igbo people. The unwise ones that do not see far who have decided that it is their sweat and money that must be used to keep Nigeria united can continue, but I will continue preaching this to every Igbo person I know and cherish. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

43Ronin: Food stuff from Delta , cross River will easily be transported directly to ready markets in Lagos . Fresh seafood harvested from the ocean by riverine communities can easily be transported fresh to markets in urban areas along this route. Other resources from the resource rich Niger Delta such as timber , cocoa and rubber can be transported to processing and export companies . You think SS is a barren desolate place ? Also goods and commodities from across Nigeria can easily be transported to all SS cities without interference through SE. You better see this project as Nigeria preparing for your final exit . The project is meant to provide direct access to all SS states via the coast in the event you are granted your Biafra . Hunger go tear Onistha touts for head bridge as there will be no trucks to exploit . 4 Likes 1 Share |

I am disappointed in the remarks attributed to Maryanne Moghalu especially coming from a politician's wife. We believe in Moghalu when he came to Washington DC soliciting our support to run a detribalize campaign to win the hearts and minds of Nigerians. I am not sure a whole ministry and others parties concerned including the minister of works Umahi who is also a kinsman would specifically target Igbo companies or demarcate them for demolition even though eminent domain can be claimed by the federal government. To identify a specific state and advise people not to invest or divest their holdings in a any region is ill conceived. Moghalu's presidential political ambition is not going anywhere anyway, but don't let your husband be thought of as tribalist. 7 Likes 2 Shares

PaellaPaella: Obiconomics maintains that government spending be limited to diverting revenue to corrupt govt official's private investment portfolios. I don't expect you to understand this as you all mortgaged 8ys of obi's malfeasance regime in exchange for having him site his brewery in Anambra . Why will anyone object to this project only you guys can say. But I think I know why you guys hate this project. 1. You want the SS largely underdeveloped so your future annexation and population displacement of her people can easily be carried out. 2. You see this project as Nigeria cordoning you off and providing direct access between the SW and SW without need to transverse your future Biafra. Amma rite? 3 Likes |

When people blame INNOSON GROUP for not investing in LAGOS, I understand their pain. It was Chief Linus Ukachukwu the other day. Now, we speak of Paul Onwuanibe. IGBOS...They are not happy in your enterprising prowess. |

She may probably wanted to use her burner twitter account but ended ul using her main account. This is how they reason. Just last week, as soludo was demolishing in anambra, his counterpart in ebonyi was also doing his own demolitions, but did u hear complain from them? https://www.nairaland.com/8072364/traders-count-losses-government-demolishes If it happens in anambra they will say "soludo is working" but if d same thing happens anywhere outside south east they will say the state government is waging war against igbos. donbrowser: Maybe if you guys held your own state governors accountable as you are doing with FG , you won't be so concerned with federal matters. The only good governor since 1999 that has come out of your SE is Dave Umahi. All the rest especially Obi and the Orji mafia have been by far the worst . 3 Likes 1 Share |
