Today we got a total of 6 hours light in a a state capital.

2 in the morning around 10am and 4 this evening... No light now & I pray we don't sleep in darkness just like yesternight & the night before.

You are lucky. I am in a state capital too, for the past 3 days no light, because of a small shower of rainfall.

We are really suffering in this country.

If that be so, what about those that want it to work? Can't the minister do it for them or are they in the minority?

Re: Some Nigerians Don’t Want Power Sector To Work – Minister Of Power, Adelabu by Dsimmer: 8:54am On May 03
This minister is one of the poor working ministers tbh. Instead of seeking how to increase energy production by embarking on more investment in building more energy plant generation and supply, he's doing nothing of such. I don't see why at least 2 new energy plants haven't been initiated at least.

I also don't know what an accountant is doing in the role. An electrical engineer should have been in that position. Another area is the minister of agriculture role where a microbiologist is occupying the role when an agriculturalist should have been in the role.

Bluntemperor:

Unfortunately, you are worse - with your questions!
If you had abused the Minister and go your way,it's better!
•Contrary to your poor opinion:
Many Nigeruans - highly Placed are illegally benefitting from this perpetual Darkness on the Masses, due to Wickedness and Corruption!
- Why can't everyone have it's Prepaid Meters by now - since 1963-dependence?
- Those who supposed to Supply Transformers to
different Arrears/ Regions are Profiting through
Fraudulent Practices - and as they are used to bad things( Corruption ) and have sold them to their Highest bidders!
- Many DISCOS Workers and Management ,GENCO and TCN are fraudulent as few Managers in these organisations and Management have regular lights to themselves-through Diversions, while Majority of
Nigerians are in Total Darkness - Everyday, Every week and Every Year!
The whole TRUTH is that DISCOS have failed and these ones can never give lights, not lead Nigerians' to Industrialization!
• Hon Minister - enough of your Rhetorics, give Nigerians- 24/7 Lights!

•Sack all the Present Discos and GENCO because they are Corrupt
• Call in Experts from Abroad ( e g General Electric) - give them Mandate- Time to Fix the Lights, then fix the Lights! You are a Minister - for God's sake!
That is ALL Nigerians want,do it!

If I’m worse, I’m wondering if you have sense at all in the first place. If you check very well, it’s possible that the individuals you highlighted as gaining from the disadvantage of our Power sector are your friends or associates or even very closely related persons. If at all you knew all these, why don’t you apply for jobs with this respect? Or probably canvas for Ministerial jobs so that such sectors can consider you. Rubbish
