Is this train from the 19th Century? The seats look like that of a Molue Bus...very uncomfortable and covered with vinyl. In civilized societies, the subway trains that are run by cities are much more advanced and very comfortable than these archaic and ugly-looking trains with seats that would induce a pregnant woman into labor. The irony is that Nigerians are jubilating when their government performs the barest minimum of responsibility that they owe them.

Who found it difficult to ensure construction of a better one and second NIGER bridge for their people for good 16years untill the present FG came in!

To crown it all,they worshipped PDP for good 24years but PDP couldn't deem it fit to make one of them the presidential flag bearer....out of frustration they packaged and white wash one former failed governor they also rebuked during his time as governor as the messiah of the fools!

I have to agree with you that PDP did mistreat us and Jonathan did worse. He was good but the south was entirely neglected by him during his time. We got nothing from him!

Kano wanted to try the same thing. Gandollars was the governor then. He conducted a feasibility study, which showed in essence the state may need to take a loan for the project. Kano people said no.

Apart from Lagos how many SW states have done the same project? Ibadan needs a light rail too.

It costs money. Even Lagos now, unless someone dashes them 200 billion dollars, they will never finish the other five lines planned.

Oga, it is not about tribe or party all the time.

My submission is that we should stop calling on FG for something the Government of a state should take as responsibility. Lagos Light train was achieved via loan . So other State too should be bold to take loan achieved that.

pH to aba Train is always an eyesaw. Very old refurbished engine and coaches that keeps depreciation value on daily base. Is this supposed to be the standard for a region that lays the golden egg?
