Good governance is what the people wants not someone who will communicate with them in their language and be killing them

Good governance
if you don't care enough to learn the language of the people you want to rule, what makes you think he will care enough for their plight?

Most of you just talk without thinking.

if those that can speak the language are struggling, what makes you think that someone that didnt even care or bother to learn the language of the people he wants to govern will do better?

Again, use your head na.

What does emilokan have to do with anything? Or what kind of dumb comparison is this?

So like you said, if those that speak the language didn’t do better, why not try something different? You will fail as a leader cause you only focus on one direction/ solution only. You are dumb when you choose to focus on one small thing instead of the big picture

Lucky Igbinedion that spoke the language very well, what did he offer to the people of Edo?
Including almost all the past governors that can speak the language. No wonder Edo state has perpetually remained behind in the scheme of performing States because we look for the most trivial of reasons to crown one as Governor.

I fully support Peter Obi, any day and any time and twice on election days, but I will pick Asue Ighodalo over any other nonentity Governorship candidates because his track records and excellence in the public and especially private sector is very similar to Peter Obi's. As a matter of fact, I would gladly put in as freelance to work with Asue Ighodalo if possible.
Right. But the man for try learn Esan small sha.

Let's encourage our children to lean and speak our dialect.
It is disheartening to be subject3d to language slavery amongst other neo-colonisation.

Not everybody has the brain to learn a language especially when you have come of age. He however has accomplished far more than learning Esan would've done for him

Obaseki and those past Edo state governors that could speak the Edo language very well what has the Edo people benefited from them.,..no development..the people living in poverty hunger hardship unemployment while obaseki and the past governors loot and embezzle money and enrich themselves

Politics is a game, You are supposed to use all tactics within the law to undercut your opponent while promoting yourself. It is now left for the electorate to choose whether the views you are promoting matters to them or not. So what he is promoting is a smart tactics any smart person will use even though he may even believe been a homeboy is not necessary

Do you think he is governor of esan land or of Edo state, let him try to be governor of only esan land which is the smallest senatorial district and see if he will get second term. He is governor of the whole state

You who understands all the dialects in Edo state, how have you contributed positively to the state as a deputy governor?

Can Obaseki himself who lived all his life in Lagos, speak Benin?

Abeg go and sit down.

Shuabus desperation to be governor is too glaring
