Feminism itself is a mirage. Males and females can never be equal and can never have equal rights and opportunities because they are not constitutionally (anatomically and physiologically) made to be so.
For a football team to excel, the striker must recognize that he is functionally different from the goalkeeper and any attempt to exercise "equal rights" with the goalkeeper, e.g. the right to use his hands, will always lead to chaos and disorder in the system. And that's what we're having today with dysfunctional family set ups and falling empires everywhere.

Nigeria is not the entire world, still, here in 21st century Nigeria, female children are being deprived of school and education so their brother's education can be afforded. And we still have many states where females would not be considered for governor. Even just a poll on Nairaland would show you how few would accept a female boss if they had a choice.

There does not need to be a law for a parent to decide to educate their male children only because they can not afford to educate their daughters too. What there needs to be are laws to make it illegal to deprive girls of education.

Women are solely responsible for nurturing you in their belly for 9 months, and many would tell you their mother nurtured them for much longer still. But I guess that is of no consequence to some.
