If such amount of money was paid to subsidize the hajj or pilgrimage, the question is for who? A poor man does not thinking of going to Saudi Arabia or Jerusalem for prayers because that is less of his worries. We are in a country where an average Nigerian cannot afford a balanced three square meal and the best the govt thought of was to subsidize hajj with such a whooping amount of money. What happened to health, education, energy to mention a few that the average man can directly benefit from.
