Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by ChiomaMC: 11:23am
But thinking out loud, is there no way we can write to this German Embassy to stop this nonsense delay? why are they making Nigerians spend money to apply for a school, get an offer and after which they won't attend the school because of the delay from the Embassy. This has to stop ooo. I don't know of a country that their Student visa takes this long. After all their offices are in our country, if they don't have enough hands, let them employ nah.. This is getting out of hand, we need to look for a way out guys.

Well, I hope so. This gap is too wide - it's not normal in a floating regime. Something not right is going on or has gone on. I hope the CBN steps up.

What’s good about the news? Please tell me.

How many Nigerians can get dollars at the official market rate?

Most Nigerians who need dollars for one thing or the others will go to black market, and the black market rate as of this morning is almost 1500 naira.

The western union rate is $1 to 1465 naira as of this morning.

Government officials and politicians can buy at official rate, but the general public will have to use black market to get dollars.

Today is May 29 2024.
It's been one year of lies and propaganda.
One year of sorrows.
One year of extreme hardship.
One year of a bigoted government.
One year of self-serving individuals at the helm.
Everything we said has unfolded itself.
Most Nigerians though free are slaves in their own country.
The country has been held down by propaganda. Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing seems to be working.
Nigerians used to be happy people but no more.
The praise singers have all hid their heads in shame, except for the shameless ones and the ones who have sold their conscience for a pot of pottage.

Indeed when the wicked bears rule the people mourn - Proverbs 29:2.

May the mercy of the Lord rejoice over His judgement.

Politics / Re: Renewed Hope or Dashed hope?: Rate Tinubu's Administration In One Year by blueAgent(m): 11:22am
Bluntemperor:
Attention Presiden Tinubu:
The TRUTH President Needs To Know:
- that those who will tell you the Truth on -the State Of The Nation are not those whom you see everyday not your Party Members ,not those in corridors of Power ,but those who are the Masses and are not after any Positions.

- that while you are trying to Re- Position many things that have been seriously damaged e.g the Naira Exchange, where Emefiele and his thieving teams, were just Manipulating, Stealing and destroying the base of Nigeria Economy, now that you are there,Nigerians wants you to fix the Economy fast!
- that you were able to remove Fast ,the Subsidies and Float the Naira, but these are the Pillars of the Nigerian Economy and removing them, should equally makes you to find immediate Solutions,as follows:
1.why has the Refineries Not been Working- Functional Refineries -should be able to bring down the Fuel Prices. Those people in NNPC- were all there when these Refineries were not Functional,so why are you retaining them now?
2•The Corruption in most MIDAS (Min, Agencies and Depts) are appalling.
3.the High Prices of Food can only come down if we have :
i.-Excess Food Productions in Nigeria-
ii -Importations of Foods, for a Short term- govt should know that a hungry stomach doesn't ignore anger and you need to do something urgently for the Masses in this regards.
iii.how can Garri become so expensive than even the other Basic Foods.
Garri is Nigerian Basic Food, especially in the South West - so why is the Prices High? Are we using Dollars to fix Garri or they are just enemies within.
Same Inflation is with Other Basic Foodstuffs - Beans,Rice , Poultry Products - Yam, and other Farms Produced.
What is the Ministry of Agriculture doing-now?
4.DISCOS is not Working because those who claimed to own them- were in the Old Orders - they can't give you the Industrialization you want, because of Corruption.
They are just pretending - you need to take the bulls by the horn- break their Monopoly!
• Without Constant Lights - 24/7 Lights in Nigeria- You can't achieved the Industrialization in Nigeria.
-Some of the DISCOS,the GENCO,the TCN, and other Power agencies - prefer Nigeria-to continue buying Generators to run Nigeria. Very Disgusting and Shameful.
•Why should Lagos State, with Population of over 20Mill.have just - 2 DISCOS - that is wrong,as they can never satisfy the Populace.
-You need to dismantle this Rigid Structures of Power, not all this grammar that Power Minister is just
blowing.
- For example,No Light since yesterday here-in Ikorodu -it's always Darkness.
-Why can't every home have Pre-Paid Meters in Nigeria?
4.To Urgently Revive the Industrial Base. The CBN - should immediately commence a Fundraising for ALL Small and Medium Term Industries -for Nigerians - and such Facilities should have Interest Rates of 5-6%- so that more Nigerians can do Business without Capital Impediments.
-You can also Monitor these Funds,by ensuring that Community leaders Guarrantee their Works in the Community.
While we know and gives your Government Kudos in:
1- Consumer Lending is good and
2- Students Loans you brought is also great, but the above is immediate ways of reducing Poverty Alieviation in this land,Nigeria
5 •Pay the Workers and the Retirees Now,for delay is denial and Delay is Dangerous.
- it is the Workers and Retirees - and the other Masses you will fall on to Vote You during the Elections.
The earlier you pay their Salaries and Wages, the better.
Keep wasting your time, did he tell u he is not aware of the problems?

1. God did not give them names, it was Adam who named them

2. Just because there is a name for these things doesn't mean they exist. If only you know that most of these names are just the products of the imaginations of the writers who first wrote about them in novels and storytelling books/movies. I can decide to write a story tomorrow describing my imaginary encounter with a mythical being and chose to call that being "kabazoola." That's how most of these names like unicorn, dragons came to be.
I will tell you about a story about my own grandfather. If you doubt me, you can come to my place in Bayelsa state and ask about it.
So, there was a tree that stood at a portion of one lady's farm for years, even before she was born. Because of the shade it gives, most farmers around it usually go under it to rest. And children used to climb it to play, too. So, on one faithful day during new planting season, the owner of the farm decided to cut down the tree in order to plant on the space it was taking. And when they fried to cut down the tree, it produced blood and it made movements that frighted the woman and the person she brought to do the job. But when they further fried to cut it, it became even more bizzare. So, they quickly dan home to inform other people in the community. And they went to withness what was happening. There they discovered that the tree was not just a tree but a high python snake. And everyone became scared to killed it. But my own grandfather volunteered and finally cut it down and killed it.
After some months and possibly years, an unknown lady started looking for him and asking for direction. And she was finally led to his house where she met him. There, the strange woman told him that she was the snake tree that he killed. She then threatened she will deal with him. She said that Why would he kill her when she did nothing to him; she never hurt anyone despite the years. She allowed people to come under her Shade yet she didn't harm anyone. So, after speaking those words, she moved. And just before my grandfather would get out of the shock to even say a word, the strange woman was nowhere to be found. And not quite long, he took ill and died.
This is a true life story.

You can not change what have been in existence but you can only deny the existence: Rivers, non-Igbo Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers and Edo are all part of old eastern region which is now refer to as Biafra

Many of you just go around different online fora spewing misinformation and lies passed down to you and this questions any form of credibility from you guys.

When and how was Edo and Delta part of any Eastern region?

Secondly, who created the 'Eastern region'? The British right? Obviously for ease of administration. How come you Igbos are hellbent on preserving the anomalous merging of you guys with people who have repeatedly made it clear they have nothing to do with your biafra?

Those people saying 100k for minimum wage, remember that 60k offer is just for level 1 staff and no one is on level 1, they start from level 4 upward, presently Lagos state state on level 8 are collecting around 140k, we should think of hyperinflation.

Level 8 in the fct civil service is collecting 70k. Let's stop this wickedness.
