David Umahi is a performing Minister. The lady couldn't have read more than Umahi, a chattered engineer. He was just being amused by her phonetics.

Urheadmaster:
shocked

Underperforming public officials fear the press and try to boycott it, while those actively performing are using the press to their advantage. We know what side he is tongue

Umahi as deceptive person now cooked by the APC knows how to avoid the solemn truth. He may have caved in if it was a TVC journalist because he know they are warped like him.

Between Umahi and Obi who is deceptive? Obi who said his children didn't have cars after serving for 8 years as governor? So his children take public transport or what is he trying to say? Trying to deceive the gullible masses into believing his children are also suffering or what?

You may confirm here: https://punchng.com/my-two-graduate-children-dont-own-a-car-peter-obi-says/

Umahi was the best governor in the South East during his tenure. Many projects that people thought Ebonyi couldn't embark on, he delivered like a true engineer. Obi on the other hand isn't development-oriented. Someone who said Nigerians didn't need tarred road, just graded roads...

Peter Obi is a hype job!

The thread is talking about how Umahi was rattled by an Arise TV reporter, but because Peter Obi lives rent-free in your medulla oblongata, you had to bring him into the discourse.
You are irredeemable.

The funny thing is that Dave Umahi himself requested that the mic be handed to the white woman (if you watched the program live) only for this mild drama to happen. In truth I think her question wasn't necessary at that particular time

My siblings have been in the US for 18 years, yet they still speaks like Nigerians, clear enough for an illiterate to understand.

I don't understand all this black self hate. The lady was even rude when the Minsiter was trying to be fumny.

if I was the Minister, I'd snub her and ask for the next journalist to ask a question.

How did she rattle him?

She asked a question and he responded. He made a joke and that was interpreted as rattling?

Arise News may need to explain if their interest is for the public good or they are seeking to protect their client.

The angst against the project by Arise News journalists and aspiring journalists us reminiscent of the same Arise News supporting Emefiele’s manipulating of the naira to scuttle someone's ambition. It also reminds us of their proprietor attacking the presidential candidate of one party to interfere in elections because the candidate refused to attend his PR debates for PDP or allow himself to be interviewed by his biased media outlet.

Let us also remember that this same Arise News did not give any media coverage to the arrest of Godwin Emefiele.

The sudden posturing for public probity is suspect.

Arise News, what is your interest in this matter? Did this guy pay you for PR against the government?

Except Abati, Arise TV is a band of very unprofessional journalists. I only watch the station for comic relief.

The lady is so rude and saucy in her approach to ask question....now, Umahi was trying to catch the joke of her nonsense accent but she exhibited her saucy way to throwing back her nonsense response by saying "you can ask the people around you"

Her English accent also included some Igbo accent ...she added saucy with her unintelligent gesture ..if I'm very sure this is not a good native English accent ....nah mixture of Naija parapo english with a bit of Igbo accent.

And she didn't quite get definite response from Umahi because she didn't exhibit a good approach to a light joke....her instinct supposed to tell her that Umahi just want to catch a lighter mood out of her question and as a leader, this is what it is excepted of him ...but the low iQ and uncultured ladies responded awkwardly...what a pity....this isna diaster to Arise TV ..I'm sure most of her colleague could have gotten a bite of some of her stupidity amd saucy behaviour...

All kind of low profile and awkward people parading themselves as a journalist and I don't need a soothsayer to know she is an Ibo lady.
