Politics / Re: Organised Labour To NASS: We’re Fighting For Living Wage, Not Starvation Wages by triplechoice(m): 1:04pm |
CharleyBright: The 498k minimum wage by labour is just a proposal . Let the government come up with something reasonable, not 60k, and see if labour will reject it before you start condemning them. During the last minimum wage negotiations with Buhari government, labour also did the same thing they're doing now by coming up with figure the government rejected until an agreement for 30k was reached. So history is repeating itself. As for your claim that a food seller will pay her saies girl minimum wage, it's not true. Those category of workers are exempted from receiving minimum wage in Nigeria. Google the minimum wage act of March 2019 to know those in the private sector that pay minimum wage. . Less than 1% pay minimum wage in the private sector in Nigeria. Minimum wage is mostly enjoyed by civil servants. |

They should pay them what they requested. We can't continue to use the masses to quench inflation as the ruling class loot everything dry. 8. Somting billion for tinubu transport comes to mind. |

Education / Use This ABC Plan To Pass Your ICAN November Diet... by planetpgold(m): 1:04pm |
Timothy Here Again, Frankly, to succeed in your exams and life endeavour, you need to give yourself a greater sense of control by making a plan and then sticking to the plan. A plan that you don’t need to be motivated to do or, in the mood to do, and not feel like you’re forced to do. Make a plan because that’s what you choose to do. Furthermore, you may be reading this as an ACA-IN-WAITING, and you may feel that the road to qualifying will take forever. I have been there and I understand you. That is, you have many expectations of yourself, and most likely your job, desire to provide for your family and other people have expectations of you too. But right now, I want you to promise yourself that to move forward, you will study for yourself. Why? Because the benefits you will have from completing your studies will outweigh all the difficulties you’re experiencing now. As you get started with your November 2024 Diet study, there are three things that can help you lower your stress in this environment where several events are requesting your attention. #1. Be kind to your brain. Treat it like a well-appreciated friend. This friend is a genius! It’s a supercomputer that can help solve problems you encounter in life (including exams). But, it needs some extra care. #2. Focus on the quality of your study time, not quantity of study. Not the number of hours sitting at your desk. To be successful doesn’t take 12 or 16 hours or days. #3. Train your brain. Do it so it works together with you, just like a good friend should, and not against you. You can train your brain through the following: -Make sure your plan includes studying difficult material early in the day. -Divide up your study sessions with a timer. -Visualize success in an important exam. -Get enough sleep to help your brain sort out new information. A people that divided their vote between 3 different candidates (Tinubu, Obi and Atiku) and a people who gave 98% of their votes to ONLY ONE candidate who happens to be their brother.... And pls dont give me the "he is the best among them balderdash" because we know Anambrians cursed Obi as their governor. Note that IDGAF about your manners, you can swear and course as expected. Politics / Re: FULL LIST: ASUU, TCN, Banks, Others Join NLC Nationwide Strike by press9jatv: 1:02pm |
inflation has been in existence even before Tinubu came to power, Tinubu economic policies even makes the inflation to increase more. Why can’t Tinubu and the political office holders passed a bill that reduced their salaries and allowances monthly. They will never do that. They are even proposing bills that will increase their salaries and allowances. Nlc should demand their wage. It’s their right. |
