Everyone doesn't want the system fixed. They are busy chasing money as the end forgetting that there comes a time money stacked in the Nigerian banks cannot save their lives. What do you call a hospital that refused to attend to a patient because of money? But then you can't really blame them because our people are very dishonest--they may refuse to pay later after treatments.

Didn't Tinubu allegedly lose his son because they couldn't organize a PJ ambulance on time to take him to a UK hospital?

What about the Hospital
the hospital is culpable as well. It's a medical emergency, the hospital is supposed to save the child's life first.

The Hospital is also at fault for neglecting an emergency patient.

What kind of hospital waits for payment before acting in an emergency? A truly horrible country we live in.
they do o. One happened in Gwarimpa Abuja. Some guys brought their friend in a pool of blood. The doctor insisted they deposit N30,000 and left the guy unattended. By the time they went and withdrew 30k and back, the guy had bled to death.

In emergencies, hospitals are meant to stabilize a patient even without payment to save life first, but here in Nigeria everything is upside down

NMA won't see these things to protest and take action, it is only when govt owe them salary that they act

Yes, medical treatments isn't free and it cost money but at least stabilize the patient first in emergencies, then discuss payment later before further treatments can be administered

Na wa o!

Very sad. The Hospital should have at least start something even if it's just to stabilize the child.

It is called emergency for a reason.
The hospital is suppose to stabilize her,
As a first aid.

Another angle. I wonder how they’re coping since the sudden loss of their boss.

Everything to trend. A bank app cannot be the reason for the loss of your child. Hospitals are expected to respond to emergency especially in the case of a child and no wait till dey see alert first.

My wife was unable to buy baby food for my daughter because the Access Bank app failed to make transfer. She had to use my Opay account to make the payment with my ATM card that she had on her. Nigerian banks are covens!

I wonder why nobody is talking about the hospital. Shouldn't life be saved first before anything else...?
Any app can fail at anytime, should that lead to loss of lives?

Next time drop phone or any valuable item as guarantee.

May be the doctor was afraid to treat.

Since I was a child, they told us, during emergency, first carry cash on your way to the hospital. Many has died due to lack of money.
