This is the condition of many Federal roads. Yet some people are clamouring for the construction of a coastal highway that will take decades to complete.
Whereas the existing roads rot away

Some people dey the other thread dey argue about democracy in Russia. What has democracy done for you in your country?

The biggest strides in development in this country occured during various military regimes. 'Democratically' elected officials have pillaged and plundered this country steadily while giving you the illusion of choice.

why dangote wanted to hire graduates

also why some companies collect an original cofo from drivers before engaging them

the guy will just abandon the truck and run off to his village

Instead of working on all the existing bad roads across the country, they are busy with coastal road which will take 8 years to complete, meaning thousands of people will die on the roads before even the so called coastal roads will be completed. Useless people

You want to blame the driver now not the bad government, do you know how hours/days he has been there? Do you even know they have families and sometimes they have family emergencies that would warrant such risks. Do you also know they remit 150k every week? And you expect him to stay there for one week and start having issue with the owner? I know all this because I was once a truck driver. Do you know how many trucks he has watched passed before he decided to try?
Let’s blame the bad road and bad government not the innocent drivers trying to feed their families by all means.

One can say that it was a deliberate act by the driver to punish the truck owner. He was warned by those around the area, but he proceeded. And he was brought out of the truck successfully.

That driver deserves a good beating.

People who have never left their room in Lagos will.never understand this.

They just don't understand the importance of fixing existing road before fancy coastal road. By the way, I heard this happened in one of the Niger Delta states

You're joking. Nigerians aren't ready for any positive change. Tribe or religion will never go out of mind of the masses.
Hear me and hear me well, the only solution to Nigerians is by going our separate ways. This will save life of people.
