It all started three days after I sold my car, and some big money was paid into my account. Pls don't get me wrong, the whole matter, I think was unconnected to my bank and also the guys that bought the car. But I just that they have seen it somewhere that money was there anyway.
I was just in my office during lunch, and a message came in to inbox. It was an sms. When I check it was a foreign number from America, and it read "if you're interested on online job I will show you how. It's simple and genuine. Reply yes to this number on Whatsapp". I just said ok, since am a bit free let use this people to play. I sent a msg on Whatsapp as directed and a girl replied me and introduced herself. She said that the job is simple, and that they will be sending me link, open the link and rate 5 star and comment, then she asked if I was interested and I said yes. She ask again if I have telegram, I said yes. She then directed me to a telegram link. Initially, the thing almost made me run colosus o😂😂😂. I did 5 ratings and she asked me to send my account number which I did, and kpakam I was credited 2500k. Again and again and again. I made 10k that day. I was already thinking of quiting my job and focus on the online job. Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. It was on Friday. While going home, I was calculating what I will do with money after 3months. So, the next day being Saturday, I did another 10k and I was told they don't work on Sunday. Mehn I was a big boy throughout the weekend. Flexing my 20k . Fast forward, my ordeal started on Monday, when I requested for links, then I was told that I don't have any lifeline, unless I participate in one group game like that to earn me a lifeline. I said ok, they sent me another link again in which I joined the link. The amount for the group game was 150k, I said since I have money naw, I opted in. After the game, it took them some hours and I was paid 250k. Omoooo. My head wanted to blow. Then I said to myself that now am bigger than the normal 2500k, let me be doing the game show . The neeeeeeext day, I was crying on the street of Lagos. They sent a game and said it's for 500k to get 1.5m, my brother, I should have known🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I called mummy Michael (my wife) and said to her, if you see our landlord wife, slap her many times. Am ready for case🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣. So, after the stage one waiting to get paid naw, I was told that it has another stage again which I will have to pay another 500k again. I told them I don't have such money, the anchor said, I shouldn't worry that I should go and look for the money and come back anytime any day, that the task is still there for me. I now ask him so, if I can't get the money nko? The guy said ooh am sorry, you lost out. And the money? Together yes pls. Hmmmmm I took a deep breath, went downstairs buy one medium size action bitters first. Inspiration came in. I said let me try the 2500k own, kpakam, everywhere was lock. And that was it o, I never even tell my wife what happened till now since last year o. I even threaten them that I will go to my village and swear for them. For where, they no even mind me

I shook my head and I had to school her on the effects of this menace on our society.
In my usual characteristics, I would have ignored her because minding my business is something I've come to fall in love it. But, I just couldn't let that depraved mentality slide.

I told her how victims of this crime, in most cases, are pushed to the brim of committing suicide. I was really disappointed, a mother for that matter!

I keep saying it, "yahoo boys" are in no way different from a "robber". But some of us, like the woman I encountered, have tried to promote this evil menace to a comfortable pedestal and glorify it. After all, they don't go about demanding the money menacingly. That is what they use to justify this evil act.

Our Society is in trouble as the fabrics of morality have been eaten up by worms!

To show you the selfish nature of man, I told her she would feel the effect of this menace when she falls a victim and she was quick to interject me with "God forbid!"

I almost fell for this scam too, they paid me twice after giving 5 star ratings as requested.
Then they asked us to do some tasks in their telegram groups.
I kept doing the tasks and I kept collecting pay, then there was a task that requested us to pay Into an account in order to collect times 5 or so of that amount. Na so I run as fast as my legs could carry me ooh. Me wey I don fall for different ponzi, I don learn enough. Not again.

Was this the same format they used for you or how did you loose that 500k. I am curious.
