I was in the market yesterday and the woman attending to me said "If not for Yahoo guys, sales would have been very poor".

I shook my head and I had to school her on the effects of this menace on our society.
In my usual characteristics, I would have ignored her because minding my business is something I've come to fall in love it. But, I just couldn't let that depraved mentality slide.

I told her how victims of this crime, in most cases, are pushed to the brim of committing suicide. I was really disappointed, a mother for that matter!

I keep saying it, "yahoo boys" are in no way different from a "robber". But some of us, like the woman I encountered, have tried to promote this evil menace to a comfortable pedestal and glorify it. After all, they don't go about demanding the money menacingly. That is what they will use to justify this evil act.

Our Society is in trouble as the fabrics of morality have been eaten up by worms!

To show you the selfish nature of man, I told her she would feel the effect of this menace when she falls a victim and she was quick to interject me with "God forbid!"

Bro na bad luck be that o. As a legit person, you'll be so easy to pick. Shan George being a public personality means that the police/Efcc will pursue this case to a reasonable conclusion. If e bounce enter your account na to come out for social media denounce the money straight away.

With all the registration the government made us do and the supposed KYC the banks did these things are still happening. It shouldn't be so. This transaction should be traceable now.

You don't know how these guys operate. By the time the money is entering Opay account, in the next minute; it's moved to another account and the cycles continues until there is no trace any more.

The n all the owners of the accounts it was moved to should be arrested and questioned. That is why I don't like giving out my bank details moreso giving to another person to use to receive money. They are avenues to rope one's self into a fraud case

I am asking cos I did one google stuff like this some months back ... they even sent me 2k for a start ... when I saw the follow up of what to do next ... I knew it was scam and ran

Many people increase their transfer limit above 1million..

U just go to your bank fill a form to increase the limit, and it is activated almost immediately...

Personally I can transfer 5million daily through mobile app on 2 of my accounts

I can also transfer 5 million daily out of my palmpay account

She was the one that compromised her account by chatting with a fake zenithbank chatbot.

Did you really need to say that her kids are adults.. Who asked you? Even if she's a Grandmother, is that the reason why she should be scammed off her hard earned Money?

This is wickedness!

I am 100 percent sure loan apps are responsible for this fraud. If you're using loan apps and you're granting them access to your messages I really pity for you.

Once you grant them access to read and access your messages you're gone. One of their staff is responsible for this.

When they initiate transfer they will go through your message immediately for OTP then your money is gone.

If you're done making use of any loan App make sure you deny them Access to your messages before deleting the App from your phone.
