We warned all of you regarding this criminal, didn't we?. Alpha Beta in Lagos was his template, one he criminally deployed and continuing to use in fleecing Lagos of its resources and income.

Tinubu as projected, is now setting up shop in all of our pockets. But you will have the opportunity to kick this thief back to where he came from in 2027, and reverse all his criminal tendencies.

We all owe this solemn duty to ourselves, and our children.

military wise it's the junior that salute which is reciprocated back because it's the rank that owns the salute now in this space it's a (captain )but the head of state .....automatically he is a five star general just like your civil president who is considered a five star general to enable him command the army .
A head of state remains at the rank of captain, yet Tinubu swiftly promoted his ADC from colonel to brigadier general in less than 24 months, leapfrogging senior officers and doing so in clear violation of established military tradition and rules.

This alone exposes the corrupt and avaricious nature of the individuals you refer to as leaders in the now disgraced country called Nigeria.

His bloated ego needs to be massaged by the feeling of a military general always standing behind him.

Traoré and Burkina Faso will pay dearly for this.
Pay with what?. What coercive instrument do you possess that would compel Burkina Faso to respond?. Why not make them “pay” immediately. Why the begging and self-inflicted humiliation first?.

Did they come to you seeking loans or any form of relief?. The world powers are not on your side, ECOWAS is effectively dead, so what leverage do you truly have as a country?.

They have already shown both intent and resolve by seizing and detaining a Nigerian aircraft and its crew, clearly signaling a willingness to confront Nigeria if necessary.

What we are witnessing is the fallout of Tinubu’s questionable new friendship with France's Macron, the consequences of which are plainly not in Nigeria’s interest.

Burkina Faso could easily destabilize Nigeria by expelling Fulani populations within its immediate territory, guess where they would end up?.

From your submissions, one is increasingly left with the impression that this forum is populated by “man-children.”

We didn’t apologize. It beggars believe why many of you are being mischievous and ignorant at the same time.

Nigerian military airplane was cleared for emergency landing according to international rules by the civilian aviation authorities of Burkina Faso. He is scared because he's a coupist.

British plane landed in emergency inside Russia yet U.K has sanctioned Russia. Nigeria didn’t beg.

He wanted and badly needed that assurance because he is a coupist. A democratically elected government of BurkinaFaso will never be scared of any Nigerian military airplane having an emergency landing inside their country.

It's only a psychopath who will wish Nigeria goes to war with a tiny, impoverished landlocked Burkina Faso.
The above submission only reinforces the crass ignorance you and your fellow laptop comrades display on Nairaland daily. Yes, a Nigerian military aircraft violated a foreign airspace, clearly in error, was forced to land for reasons still unclear, and its crew was detained.

So what!. Such incidents regularly occur worldwide, but the prolonged detention, coupled with the drawn-out public spectacle, amounts to a needless humiliation of Nigeria and paints a grim picture of where the country now stands even among her immediate neighbors. The optics are terrible.

Under a leadership that commanded genuine respect among its neighbors, a simple phone call between Tinubu and Traoré would have resolved this matter.

At worst, timely intervention by ECOWAS elders should have swiftly restored normalcy, but who dismantled the ECOWAS framework in the disjointed condition it now finds itself?, you guessed right, Tinubu.

This would never have happened under Obasanjo or Jonathan. Tinubu has reduced Nigeria to a state of disrepute.

As for talk of war with what you described as a “tiny, impoverished, landlocked Burkina Faso,” let me remind you that this government has already, and shamefully, lost the war against insurgents at home.

A government incapable of protecting its citizens from kidnapping and ransoming as if they are goats, cannot fight, let alone win, an external war.

That is why Tuggar is now reduced to begging Captain Traoré. Clearly, we have lost the awe and respect of our neighbors. Dem don see us finish.

Period.

Most intelligent post here. Those who are critical thinkers and pragmatically intelligent observers reason as you do.

Nigeria is not the typical nation others have experience of. We are extremely divided and disunited. Essentially several very different nations forced to co-existence as one.

To deliver change in a nation that is one of the most self-destructively difficult in the world to lead and reform, a focused leader must be in office that gives him power to deliver those crucially needed reforms.

Compromises must be made so a second term can be realised that will allow Nigeria be totally and uncompromisingly reformed and overhauled as she needs to be.
See as dis one just dey somersault without direction. Oga, Politics is not leadership!.

All we have had up until now, masquerading as leaders, were merely politicians, and where exactly have they led us to?, the failure the country has become.

This failed and fragmented state we call a country needs a leader who is decisive, firm, and capable of asserting authority over those who believe the rest of us exist to serve their economic, political, and feudal interests.

The man in Aso Rock is not that leader; he is simply another politician.

Kidnapping for ransome is the new song. Citizens are being killed as if murder is going out of fashion, while politicians and the rich clothed themselves with our security forces for protection.

It’s understandable that people are worried about leadership in such a critical period. At the same time, it’s important not to jump to conclusions based on a single photo — fatigue can happen to anyone, even in high-pressure roles.

The bigger question is whether there are systems and structures in place to manage national security effectively, not just the appearance of one individual. Leadership isn’t only about moments captured in pictures, but about consistent decision-making and follow-through.

So what is your point exactly huh
I believe the case OP is making is that the man who is president, is not fit for purpose.

Justice Omotosho will not allow another mental case excuse. If he's convicted then you will soon realize how this is conduct will soon be factored in as he will subsequently now be restrained physically and handled as a serious crime convict in the event he wants to appeal.

The victims of his alleged violent rhetorics didn’t get the opportunity to defend themselves in his own court where he pronounced them guilty.

However, the fear of the same people who orchestrated this ugly attack is the very reason Tinubu will not do the right thing.

Tinubu commands and controls Nigeria's security establishment, not a governor. A governor does not have the constitutional power to issue a binding order to a police officer.

But I know you know these things. All you want to do is twist the narrative. These killings rests with Tinubu.

DiamondSword799:
There is so much injustice in the North, that needs the attention and support of all Nigerians. Please. Every indigenous Nigerian needs to pay attention to the North, especially the NW where foreigners have subjugated the indigenous tribes and hijacked all political offices and traditional offices.

Currently, all religious, traditional and political offices in the NW are occupied by Fulanis who are NOT real Nigerians. And whose plan was to extend their conquest down South via the Middle belt. The STOP to foreigners ruling the NW starts in the 2027 elections, and every Nigerian has a role to play.

In the 2027 elections,, across the North,, only Indigenous candidates would be allowed to stand elective positions. This is the conclusion from a recent meeting of indigenous youth clusters in the North. And the message is being sent out to every citizen of this country.

No more Fulani foreigners from the Sahel allowed to hold polical offices. Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Nasir El-Rufai is Fulani, etc. are NOT real Nigerians. Every Fulani man is not a real Nigerian, and they are NOT loyal to the country. The Fulani are only loyal to Fulani. All Fulani Emirs in the North also have to be replaced with indigenous northerners. Foreigners can not be kings in another mans land.

from 2027 onwards, only real Nigerians or indigenous Nigerians in the North would be allowed to contest elections. We call on the FG, agencies of government, Political parties, institutions, and other Nigerians to ensure that Indigenous Northerners take priority in everything. In every opportunity, the Northern indigenes must take precedence and this is justified because they have been subdued and supressed for hundreds of years.

No more Fulani jihadists from the Sahel ruling Nigeria. Never. Any political party that allows Fulani foreigners to contest on its platform, that party would lose all elective positions in the North, and the party would die a natural death.
Did you join Fulani to fight Igbos, yes or no?. And you now want the same people you fought and sort to impoverish to fight those you enabled to dominate you for centuries?.

Taah, gbafuo!.
