If the name remotely sounded Igbo, Nairaland will reverberate. Make una yoruba rid yourselves of tribalism. |
aswani:Defender of nonsense. Your APC is saintly and pius. An incompetent man who wore shoes a few sizes bigger than him, is now clutching at straws. I thought they said Tinubu is an all American accountant, he will turn Nigeria into an eldorado, let's not even remember how he ruined Lagos, why are you lots engaged to launder his mounting failures. Are we to infer that you do not have better remmunerating activities to engage your times with?. |
aswani:Do not for once think some of us are not paying attention to your activities here. That threat up there, an attempt to intimidate and stiffle the opinion of a fellow discussant is noted as well. You hate people of the East, that's your good right. It is equally your right to support the man we see you do, but what you cannot do is threaten people for the opinion they have. You seem to suggest that Seun is logging ip addresses in readiness for same to be used against forum participants. Seun |
helinues:Tinubu soiled his filthy hands in his obviously failed attempt to convulse and incapacitate the Labour party as he continues to do to all other opposition parties. As it stands today, Tinubu is the biggest threat to democracy in Africa. However, we are comforted that his hightened attempts to muzzle legitimate opposition to his illegal self-imposition in Nigeria political leadership will implode in due time. |
The uninformed and self-serving behavior of Arabambi continues to reflect a lack of sound judgment and upbringing. He has now confirmed what many suspected: that he was working as a Tinubu mole within the Labour Party. The same can be said of his associate, Apapa. It's important to note that President Tinubu is protected by constitutional immunity and cannot be sued or compelled to act in any legal capacity while in office. Arabambi is fully aware of this, which makes his recent public statements nothing more than self-promotional theatrics and empty grandstanding. While Tinubu retains the right to sue private citizens, including Peter Obi, if he feels aggrieved, using state power to pursue personal vendettas is a gross abuse. Arabambi’s call for such action is not only baseless, it borders on criminal incitement and should be treated accordingly. |
There has never been smoke without fire. If anyone is in any doubt about the source of Deji's Misbehavior, look no further than the man in Aso Rock and his judiciary fixer at the fct. |
On 28 July, 2025, Mr. Peter Obi remindeded us of the importance of character, competence, capacity, and compassion. Read his exact words: In November 2022, while campaigning in Delta State, the then APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu, now the President, berated the other Presidential Candidate (Peter Obi), he was ashamed to call his name, saying "Na statistics we go chop all I want is to put food on the table of Nigerians”. Now 2 years into his 4-year tenure, Nigeria is classified as one of the hungriest nations in the world with millions of Nigerians not knowing where their next meal will come from. President Tinubu is now overfeeding Nigerians with wrong Statistics from wrong unemployment figures, wrong inflation figures, and now GDP rebasing, all to put a positive spin on our deteriorating economic and household conditions. Governance is not a rocket science, it's not a gamble, like I have always reiterated, it requires sincerity of purpose, character, competence, capacity and compassion. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO |
franchasofficia:I tire my broda. We wey be say na since donkey years dis kind passport dey our hand still dey here dey gallantly battle the laptop lying confra, na im one yeye yahoo oba dey disgrace the ancestral cap wey dem wear am. I no blame am, na canadian guff cause am. |
Ttalk:Simple request, e don turn fiasco. Shey na engris competition I say make we do, abi google no gree give you expo ni?. |

Ttalk:What is the meaning of the word "interloper" contextualIy?. I know it is impossible no to, but I urge you to resist the "necessity" to ask Google. |
Enugu and Lagos have serious portable water problems. The drug lord who was Lagos governor failed to solve that problem in the 8 years he taxed and stole Lagos residents into poverty. |
Ttalk:Why are you slow like dis?. The question is, if (when) Nigeria breaks, would you chose Tinubu to lead your new Odua republic, simple. Instead of yes or no, na cho cho cho like oyingbo market woman we dey hear. Tomorrow now, you go still call yourself say you be man ![]() |
chiiraq802:The opposition parties are not jittery. While you're at liberty to support the criminal who is bent on destroying Nigeria to his advantage, those other Nigerians are working hard to rid the country of the nuisance you support and secure the future of the country. |
Gentledove2001:Go back and read the nonsense they gave you to post again. I hope your family has eaten today?. |
Softmirror:Say una dey lie no dey pain us, because e dey expose Tinubu's desperation and unpopularity. Wetin dey pain us be say, na our money wey dem dey thief dem dey use pay una, including una lie lie laptop. |
For what reason should that baby be killed?. Is this how worthless life which we cannot give has become to Nigerians?. That child had the resemblance both parents, and the are millions of children against whom she will win in a beauty peagent all over the world. |
Ofunaofu:The laptop crew sort to spin that it was Peter Obi who convinced Goodluck Jonathan to disregard the zoning agreement. The truth is bolded for everyone to read. Peter Obi was an APGA governor. |
favor914:The tactic of shifting policy responsibility which statutory resides at the center to the subnational is simply idiotic. To prevail in the responsibility denial most of you engage in here and all over the social media space, advice Tinubu to call for constitution reformation. The blueprint is in the national archives. All he has to do is cause it to be sent to the national assembly to be debated and passed. |
Watianoengineer:Where and when was it decreed that a Y.ouruba should not run a successful airline business?. Onye Igbo is bringing pride, succour and economic empowerment to Nigeria and Nigerians, but all you give in appreciation is the usual tribalism. Would you rather pay high fares, a 14 hours transition time and be humiliated in European airports or even a sister African country like Ethiopia en-route to Brazil, or a straight 6+ hours dive across the ocean as it used to be a couple of years back when Varig operated the route?. Dof your hat for that Igboman who had the vision, and is ready on day one to take on the challenge to better the lives of his fellow citizens. See, if e easy eh, make una run am, make we see!. |
SmartPolician:Why do you keep saying 'you people this, 'you people' that?. Oga, make I ask you, you sef even go school like dis?. Your composition and grammar are simply horrible. Your statement inadvertently reinforces the Igbo mindset. The Igbo people neither believe in sycophancy nor do they live as parasites. Unfortunately, these traits have become the guiding philosophy of some other ethnic groups in Nigeria today. The Igbo are a confident people who believe strongly in their ability to fend for themselves. They are not looking to grab what is not rightfully their or to steal out collective commonwealth as another has done and the current leadership is doing. But, let's be clear, they are also prepared to leave Nigeria the moment it no longer serves the interests of all its citizens. The tipping point, as we all know, was reached in 1967, and we all witnessed the consequences. If the situation ever arises again, no one should doubt that the Igbo will stand their ground and defend themselves. This, I believe, is their legitimate right. The only reason you may not yet realize your full potential is that you might still be trapped in the limitations of a supposed nation that holds you back, Nigeria. This is why so many young Nigerians are leaving in droves to seek opportunities elsewhere, while those who have held you down have already secured safe havens for themselves abroad. The Igbo do not want the end of Nigeria. They were central to the struggle that gave birth to this country which has now become a contraption. What the Igbo are asking for is a Nigeria that works for all her people equally. They are not asking for handouts or to be spoon-fed anything. What they seek is equity, a fair system that serves its purpose for everyone. Equity is just, must be just, and must serve the purpose for which it exists. Do you understand this part?. Perhaps not. In this context, 'equity' refers to Nigeria itself. Sadly, Nigeria is neither just nor equitable, nor does it serve the purpose for which it was created. Therefore, it may be time for this nation to reconsider its future. May be it should set forth at dawn. |
creativejagaban:The people of Kwara would have been sleeping peacefully instead of running around like headless chickens if they had the ESN. |
Putindbutt:Before proceeding further, can I encourage you to reflect carefully on your own words and actions?. The persistent effort to spread misinformation and disparaging narratives about a man whose only “offense” is his commitment to building a functional, fair, and inclusive Nigeria is as regrettable as it is telling. Mr. Peter Obi represents the leadership that millions of Nigerians both desire and deserve. One rooted in integrity, competence, compassion and a vision for national renewal. The ongoing attacks from paid propagandists, many of whom face the same socio-economic hardships as the rest of the populace, do little more than highlight the moral cost of selling one’s voice for a pittance. As progressive Nigerians, we will continue to raise our voices in support of Mr. Obi until the day he becomes President. At the same time, we respect your democratic right to criticize him, even when such criticism is rooted in deliberate falsehoods. That right, however, does not shield anyone from being called out for their dishonesty. Let’s be clear: the fact that the Tinubu campaign relies so heavily on smear tactics rather than a showcase of its candidate’s achievements is, in itself, a glaring admission of failure. If there were meaningful accomplishments to highlight, surely that would have been the focus. But in their absence, distraction and character assassination have become the tools of choice. As the next campaign season approaches, I sincerely hope that Mr. Tinubu and his handlers present the Nigerian people with something more substantive than what has been displayed thus far. We, on our part, are fully prepared to raise the standard of engagement and discourse, and we will do so with clarity, purpose, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s future. |
First, let me say thank you, thank you to Mr. Pogue, and to our beloved brothers and sisters from the Middle Belt. Your courage, your resilience, and your clarity of purpose continue to inspire us all. The journey has begun again. And this time, we walk with sincerity in our hearts and a determination that cannot be shaken. We are no longer in the shadows. We are already standing at the gates of the victory stand. My brothers and sisters, do not doubt what you know in your heart to be true. Hold on to your convictions, no matter how loud the noise becomes, no matter how much the paid mobs scream and twist the truth. These same voices, these same hands, are the ones standing by as your people are massacred. They are complicit in the violence. They are silent witnesses to a slow and calculated attempt to cleanse you from your ancestral lands. Now, they come with empty gestures. They think they can buy your silence. They rename an institution and expect gratitude, as if that erases the blood, the loss, the pain. My people, do not be deceived. This is not honor, it is insult. It is bribery dressed as recognition. And to that, we must say: We are not for sale. Stand tall. Stand proud. Let your voice be heard not just in words, but in actions, your continued support. Let them see that dignity cannot be bought, and heritage cannot be renamed. Peter Obi is your son. He has always been. He remains so today, tomorrow, and for all time. He stands with you, as you have stood with him. Thank you, and may our unity remain our strength. A new Nigeria is POssible. |
fuckingAyaya:No surprises there. This family has stolen Nigeria blind. And this new found love for Kano and it's people by the Tinubu family. I'm confident they are not fooled. |
Kemetian:Just shut it. The British pound has a higher exchange value to the US dollar, when had a US president ever gave it precedence over the greenback?. That's what is in discussion here. What we have is a Nigeria president openly disparaging and insulting his own economy. This same man already told us that he does not believe in one Nigeria. Obviously, his ascendance to the highest office in the land was fraudulently achieved, he therefore, ought to be shown the door at the earliest opportunity. |
Chilipepper:E go hard brother because that's how she was raised. But, hope dey. You and your wife need to sit down and work out a algorithm. Basically a plan of what needs to happen, how, when and by who. Every child needs algorithmic process implementation to stay focused. The hard part is communicating it to kids in a manner that makes it stick with them. No playing and goofing on weekday mornings. |
Nigerians, one of the reason to purge your selves of this autocracy is staring at you frontal. As Helinues said, this is only testing the mic. If you allow Tinubu to rig himself back into Aso rock in 2027, then say a thundering goodbye to the little freedom of speech you currently enjoy, let's not even add hunger and material deprivation. Don't play. |
