A 23-year-old Lagos-based lady identified as Jadesola Taiwo has come out to reveal when the lockdown in Nigeria will end. In a chat with Ekohotblog Reporter, Jadesola said she got her answers from the Biblical book of Daniel Chapter 7.

Jade who expressed her fears at everything she read in the book divulged that the lockdown would last for ‘three and half years’. Looking at verses 24-25 of Daniel Chapter 7, Jade said the ruler that would appear was the current Nigerian president and this Coronavirus is only a tool for disrupting our religious laws, gatherings, festivals as written in the book. She also said many people would waste time trying to figure when all these crisis would be over.

She enjoined everyone especially Christians to remain faithful until the ‘three and a half years’ are over. Lol. I can’t help but laugh. I must commend Jadesola for going back to the Bible in order to read and figure out answers to conquer perilous times like this. But we must also be careful in order not misinform people and rob the Word of God of its power.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved special e-portals that will allow Lagos State tertiary institutions commence online lectures as part of measures to reduce the impact of Coronavirus on education.


The seven schools that will benefit from the initiative are:

Senegalese authorities have confirmed reports that they are expecting anti-Covid-19 traditional medicine from Madagascar where the locally prepared potion is being promoted as a remedy to the Coronavirus.

Government spokesperson Abdou Latif Coulibaly told public broadcaster RTS that Senegal was ready to test the “miracle” drug, officially known as Covid-Organics.

The Deputy Coordinator of Kano State COVID-19 Response Team, Dr. Sabitu Shuaibu, Saturday dismissed reports that the state recorded 640 deaths in two days.

Kano, the commercial capital of Northern Nigeria, has reportedly been rocked by mysterious deaths in the last few days.

Shuaibu, who appeared on Channels TV, said the figure was recorded in the last one week and not in two days as insinuated by some persons on social media.

COVID-19: Lagos government confirms 25 new cases

The Lagos State Government has confirmed 25 new cases of Coronavirus in the state.

This was made known by Prof. Akin Abayomi, Commissioner of Health in the state via his Twitter handle, on Wednesday.

Abayomi disclosed that the 25 new cases bring the total number of those infected in the state to 217.

He also affirmed that 8 patients who have fully recovered have been discharged.

Panic in Lagos as one million boys drops note of operation

The 1 Million Boys disrupting the peace of Lagos state residents has taken another dimension, left a warning note stating that their next strike will be gruesome if a community refuses to comply.

There have been several confirmed reports of the evil activities been carried out by the armed bandits around Lagos state and Ogun state. It was also confirmed that the bandits also attacked Agege and Iyana Ipaja area in Lagos state. Some bandits that were caught in those areas actually identified themselves as the 1 Million Boys. They are known to move around in groups of about 100 persons with different weapons and rob people. They are not new to the residents of Agege as they have been known to operate in this kind of manner.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq, says the federal government considers Nigerians who buy N100 call credit as poor and will ensure they get relief cash.

Some irate youths have allegedly attacked a yet to be identified Chinese company in Ogun State.

A video currently trending on social media showed the youths violently attacking the company.

A background voice in one of the videos said the police had arrived at the scene but could not stop the irate youths.

The reason for the attack is not readily known, but there are speculations that the attack was due to the lockdown declared in the state by the federal government over the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
