Oyigbo LGA and Ogba-Ndoni-Egbema LGA are the two largest oil producing LGAs in Nigeria.

Oyigbo LGA was never part of River state prior to Biafra. Oyigbo was carved out of Abia state and renamed in 1976 by Justice Mamman Nasir as a way to stop any chance of Biafra occurring again. But has it stopped IPOB?
