If I were in Nigeria I would have donated my time and resources to organize a grassroot movement for him. I know exactly how to do that. It can be done even in short time with modest resources. He doesn't need to break a bank to organize effectively. He needs authenticity and resolve. That would build followership and leadership to give him the needed victory even if he is up against satan. Prof, I am still available if you seriously need me! ![]() |
I still advise Soludo to find a party that would adopt him and run under its ticket. He can build the party after he wins. The fact remains that Soludo has yet to pay his dues properly in Anambra state. This is an opportunity. I hope and wish he has ability to organize in short time to contest the November elections. Win or lose, he would have cut his teeth properly this time. He MUST CONTEST! ![]() |
egift: In politics, there is no permanent ememy just interest. For now Ngige looks like he has an upper hand, BUT we have not given up on Soludo yet. We are waiting for his next political moves and we shall follow him there. ![]() We need a TRUE VISIONARY in Anambra governors lodge. |
Dopestfiend: dude cry me a river. The writer is igbo so stfu. This your "cry" "cry" nonsense is making you far more girly than I would have thought. Only girls think about "crying" when men are making solid points. Keep "crying" girl. ![]() |
This HATE manifesto should be removed from Nairaland politics section. The author has a morbid pathological fixation on Igbo people which is known for years now. His sophistry in his clear HATE MANIFESTO fools no one. Distance Nairaland from OPEN HATE MANIFESTO and PROPAGANDA. https://www.nairaland.com/1409685/thoughts-latest-manifestation-igbos-delusion |
Truth is indomitable! Thank you sire Ogunlewe! |
hehehe. We no talk am? ![]() |
Obasanjo is NOT good news in Anambra state. |
Rhino.5dm:What is even more annoying is that A WHOLE RANGE OF IGBO LEADERS WERE BEHIND SOLUDOS MOVE TO APGA. There were SERIOUS consultations before Soludo acceded to the idea of moving to APGA. It then means that just Peter Obis interest is about to truncate the interest of the entire Igbo nation. I honestly don't think this will be allowed to happen. November is still too far. A day in politics is like one thousand years! Lets be watching. |
Prof Corruption: It's a lost battle. If he's truly popular and has the financial muscle to fight the main election, all he needs is to take one of the idle parties and popularize it, like Mimiko did in Ondo. But I don't really see him as a serious candidate because that's late now. He should have created a parallel structure by now. He's just wasting his time going to court. He made a huge mistake moving to APGA without securing any commitment from Obi.And who told you that he did not secure any serious commitment from Obi? The problem with you Nigerians is that you tend to forget too quickly key information pertaining a person. Soludo is not a political neophyte. He has been into politics right from student union days at the UNN in 1984. He has always been a poltical animal. He is ALSO A FIRST CLASS BRAIN. Combine those two qualities and what you have is a potential political legend. That people like him are not running Nigeria is a testament to the country's inate self destructive tendencies. Peter Obi is making the exact same mistake you are making here, and that is to assume that the rest of your opponents are fools. Well, we shall see. But this may lead to a loss to Jonathan in 2015. Anambra state is like the engine room of Igbo opinion. With Rochas in APC, if Ngige wins Anambra, it is all over for Jonathan in 2015. |
Soludo should fight his disqualification to the highest court in the land. That is what Peter Obi did when he was rigged out by PDP. In politics you have to fight for your mandate sometimes. His hardcore followers like myself will NEVER give up on him. NEVER. ![]() Our future is at stake. |
Prof Corruption: Your fears are unfounded. Look at Oshiomole, he's in APC but exercises a largely independent mind. He's a performer too. I have chosen Oshiomole because you wouldn't believe any one cited in SW. Is Rochas also giving Imo's funds to Tinubu? Some of your claims are laughable. My people say that a chick that will turn into a c.o.ck is known from hatchling stages. Ngige failed a lot of his followers,(both overt and covert ones) by his handling of the deportation saga. No matter how much you people try to trivialize that issue, it is HUGE in Anambra mainly because the problems of Igbo traders (many of who are Anambra citizens) are not yet over in Lagos. We need a strong voice in the governors lodge to speak in defense of their interests. Ngige did not do that. Is it when he becomes governor that he will care about those people? Anyway, you are right that he has a strength of character (though that may be for good or ill). Having said all these, I am more afraid of the PDP than I would ever be of Ngige. |
On Soludo I stand rukwaa echi! hoohaa! Soludo is our future. Soludo is the solution to our developmental problems in the East. Soludo is Eastern rennaissance! We shall follow Soludo! |
owobokiri: Obi wants to play a "godfather" and that is so laughable.. The same Obi whose second term was so hard to achieve that he had to drag and ailing Ikemba out of his sick bed to beg Anambrarians to vote for Obi as the last gift to him. Obi is for big business and has a vaulting personal ambition of dominating businesses all over Anambra. In places like Onitsha , until recently he only constructs roads leading to the premises of some big businesses in which he may have shady interests while roads leading to the biggest commercial center in the city rots. He is not going to pull this one off. He just burried Apga because whosoever they are going to project will be dealt a massive blow at the polls. GEJ himself is a half baked politician. He cant even control Otueke and he wants to control a riotous Anambra? Lets see how it goes come November. GEJ was the one who made Rochas his main enemy in the east when he played this kind of politics during Ohakims re-elction campaign by insisting Okorocha should not be elected. He goes all gong ho when t is the former eastern Nigeria but will gladly swallow insults from Kwankwaso , Aliyu and co. The same fate he suffered at Imo awaits him at Anambra. Obi is so weak that if he is constitutionally allowed to go for a third term, he will struggle to win even with GEJs support and here he is anointing surrogate governors like he is some kind of political enffant terrible. It is Anambra..That wont flyHonestly we have learned a hard lesson by this whole mess. Nobody would have believed that Peter Obi could stab Ikemba in the back like this.Ikemba will be rolling in his grave now. |
emiye: he didnt mortgage anambra coffers to UBA, a fellow Igbo man, it is now Tinubu, he will mortgaged anambra coffers too abi?APC has some real killers in their midst. Some of them are responsible for the Boko Haram start up in the North. Ngige dare not mess with those people. Chris Uba na small boy compared to those killers. This why Ngige couldn't condemn a simple illegal act by Fashola. If he cannot face Fashola, is it Tinubu or Buhari that he will face? I dey laff. |
mikeansy: A lot of us talk like kids. It does not matter at this point whether Soludo ends up loosing the primary. But he must be allowed to take part in the democratic process so long as he has not been convicted of anything by a court of law. Soludo has a duty to ask a court to enforce this right!Yea, me too. I have not lost all hopes. The future of Ndigbo is at stake. Thank God that this is happening in Anambra state where there are restless and tough Igbo people. Dem never born the maga that will hijack Anambra like that without a fight. Only Soludo I stand! |
Prof Corruption: A vote for Ngige is a vote for development. We don't really know that for sure going by his recent antecedents. Ngige is looking more and more selfish to decerning folks. Having said that, I may be inclined to still support him ahead of any PDP candidate. Nothing is permanent in politics except interests. My fear is that Ngige may mortgage Anambra coffers to APC and Tinubu, thereby having very little money to invest in the state, BUT my fear of PDP is that they may also sell Igbo future entirely. The Soludo affair is making me have a rethink of supporting anything remotely related to PDP. |
Truth is about to burst forth in Nigeria. True planning begins after this census. |
Bliss4Lyfe: So Peter Obi, Umeh and GEJ want Soludo to suffer before moving to the next stage of the democratic process. My concern is that PDP and Jonathan may be planning to rig election to favor PDP in the November elections. For the sake of our dear sake, we must make sure that they cease and desist from their selfish plans. I am beginning to reevaluate my support for Jonathan going forward, because he seems to be involved in Soludo's troubles. Politics is a quid pro quo business. If you support my aspirations, I support yours. Simple. If you stiffle mine, then I would be very stupid to support yours. I hope that they find a face saving way to give us Soludo (our true choice for governorship in Anambra state). They caused this mess, they should fix it! |
