For anyone outside the Motherland, you know you are back home when: 1. You pay Agency & Legal Fees to people who are not agents or lawyers 2. Words like Perkins, FG Wilson, Mikano and Inverter make perfect sense to you 3. You own 6 jerry cans 4. People offer you champagne at funerals and kiddies birthday parties 5. Everyone that calls into a radio show speaks with a weird hybrid american/canadian/english/pidgin accent 6. Everyone has a MOPOL contact on their phone for minor traffic altercations 7. You have contacts like "Femi Plumber, "Emeka Gas man" and "Sule AC man" on your phone 8. There are more Range Rovers on paved roads than on offroad tracks 9. Your legislators are the same thugs that used to "tax" you for cigarette money in school 10.Your blackberry is considered a status symbol... Welcome home |
