Recently my car bounces especially at low speeds sometimes it feels as if I have a flat tyre. I have done wheel balancing and alignment and changed tyres yet it hasn't stopped. What else can I do?

You need new shock absorbers

Springs and shock absorber (struts) are the main parts of your suspension that control ride quality. The spring is responsible for the car not hitting the ground when the tire enters a pothole. The shock absorber tries to return the car back to its original height as soon as possible by dissipating the kinetic energy in the spring through heat.

If after an initial bounce, your car keeps bouncing then you need new shocks (struts).

Your shock /struts are gone so the car is bouncing on springs. The shocks are suppose to soften the movements of the body or (de)compression between the wheels and chassis and the spring returns the body to its ride height(which is why you adjust spring to raise car height).

With bad shocks/strut the spring gets to (de)compress very fast.If you have to test a bad shock and compare to a good one you will notice you can compress the bad on more easily with your hands and it might stay down.

What other test do you need when your car is bouncing like basket ball. I bet your car is Toyota Camry. They scored first position in that area .

Push down real hard on the side of the hood right above the tires and the car should stop bouncing when you let go after 1 or 2 bounces if your strut is still good.

i hope its not a lexus GX470. mine started same problem, but its understandable cos it use the Airbag Suspension system and if the pressure is not enough, it tends to bounce
