The following info would b very useful:

>choose a course wisely.
>dont pick 1 sch as 1st & 2nd choice.
>score high in UTME.
> if ur UTME score is low
for competitive course, pls
go for JAMB change of course.
>if u r writting JAMB for more
than 2 times or u r tired of
staying at home, pls choose a less
competitive course.
>study hard
>attend tutorials
>be smart
>pray


IF ur score is below 270 for:
computer sc.
chemical engineering
computer engineering
electrical engineering
pet & gas
pharmacy
Law
Accounting
Bus Admin
Economics
.
If ur score is below 260 for:
English lang
finance
insurance
civil engineering
Estate mgt
dentistry
political sc
sociology
.
if u chose any of these courses above and ur score in UTME falls below that, its advice-able u consult d cut-off mark & go 4 change course to any of d course havin lower cut-off mark.
Any of the education
courses applicable to u would b ok.

If ur score is 250
& abov, u can choose any of the
newly accrdited courses:
fisheries,
geology,
geophysics,
early childhood,
etc.

Another thing to consider when applying 4 admissn is d cut-off mark, number of candidate applying 4 d course and d number admitted 4 a particular course.

@unity234,nice post but someone actually made the merit list for law this year in unilag despite scoring 219 in jamb.this happened because its scoring high in the post utme that really matters e.g this year's jamb had only three pple scoring above 300 and the "big" courses like law,medicine.nursing.IRPM,mass comm,pharmacy etc mostly had cut offs above 70.so if u get like 240 in jamb and u wanna read medicine u just have to double/triple ur efforts in the post utme because if u get like 80/100 in the post utme that makes an aggregate of 70..I say this because after being stalled by wrong subject combos/cut off for two years I decided to study english edu but made up my mind to pursue my law degree less than a semester into my first year.u shouldn't waste ur time,money and energy on a course u have second thoughts about.

unilag always put this notice on the door of the admissions office every year after the release of the second list;"20../20.. Admission exercise closed" however there is the-less popular vc list which I doubt anybody can specifically tell u when they release it and as the name implies the list is compiled at the discretion of the VC and HODs offices so if ur father/mother etc doesn't know know like a former governor or minister,start preparing for jamb next year.that said I have never seen anyone who has actually gained admission thru d VC list.

u're supposed to have finished ur course registration online before u go for faculty registration and yes the final enrollment which starts tomorrow is for freshers.

All the course in unilag is competitive although econs major is more competitive than the other ur focus shld be in ur prayers and study hard + if u av connections

ur blood isn't necessarily important for the biodata capture.

it is during the final enrollment in the hall that the admissions officers will sign it

the difference is that if u read econs edu u're training to teach econs.

The deadline for the acceptance of supplementary admission into the University of Lagos Foundation Programmes is Friday, October 19, 2012 while the deadline for the payment of at least half of the tuition fees (including medical fee) for candidates on the supplementary list is Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

u can only perform course reg on a pc or on a smartphone.u start by entering the first letter of the course code then u wait for the system to bring up a list of courses and if u still don't find the course u're looking for then u enter the second letter and if u still don't find the course u enter the third one.if i u do perform these steps and the course still isn't there then u scroll down,u will find the course then.NB don't bother urself with the number of units the system inputs units to each course automatically.

some of the requirements for faculty reg like payment acknowledgement. Can't be printed from the net except u pay ur skool fees.
