This article is to help you choose wisely the best platform you can used to create a successful blog. It will be very helpful to go into some terms in blogging so as to help you know more about blogging before we proceed.

Blog is a weblog that people used to promote their goods and service online.

Blogging is a simple way many bloggers used to share their knowledge for other people to benefit, provide advice to assist newbie’s. Also used for marketing business online and to sell goods and products.

What is Platform?
Platform is a website used to create different types of blogs on the internet. They are many platforms online that you can use to create your blog but choosing the best and right one out of them can be a bit confusing especially for newbie’s which are just starting blogging.

There are many platforms that you can used to create your blog as you can see the list above but I will be talking about two most important platforms with the benefits when using them to create your blog.

Wordpress

This is a great and reliable open source blogging platform used by many bloggers to create their respective blog. Wordpress comes in two ways, the free one () and the paid one (wordpress.org). The core software is package with thousands of plug- in and themes to transform your site and make it look more professional.

Blogger

This a popular and free blogging platform owned by Google. It allows both private and multi-user with extremely easy setup process that can help you create your blog in less than 20 minutes. It’s also package with a lot of widgets, themes and plug-ins. It also supports drag-and-drop template editing which can help you transform your site without any hassle.

These are some of what you should look out for when choosing platform to create your blog.

Plug-in

This is one of the tools people look out for when picking or using platform because it make your blog look perfect and very easy to install. Both wordpess and blogger contain plug-in that can help your blog but one plug-in is more powerful and useful than other. For better plug-in for your blog I will recommend wordpress.

Themes

How your blog look put more beauty to it and this is one of the things that will attract your readers or will even make them to come back for more reading. I suggest you should choose the perfect platform form the start to help you with wonderful themes. Both platforms had great themes which can help your blog and make it look more professional.
Recommend: - Wordpress.

Installation

This can be hard work when you are using wordpress unless you are hosting your blog with reliable hosting company like Regency Host because they will provide you with software like fantastic that will make your installation go very easy and install in less than 2 minutes. As for blogger platform, installation is very easy as anything.
Recommend: - Blogger (if free).
Wordpress (if host).

To Make Money

When you intend to use your blog to make money, then you have to think of the best and perfect platform to use so as to make your blog look attractive to your readers. Looking at the rate of people blogging with wordpress, then you will be confident that wordpress can bring good result that can make you money through your blog. Using blogger too can make you money but with the rate of wordpress users and their powerful available plug-in, then you will be confident to choose wordpress.

Traffic

This is the fuel that will make your blog to be moving on well. The key point in blogging is to generate traffic in other for other things to come out of it like money, fame and this can be achieved by choosing the perfect and powerful platform which have impact on the traffic you generate because some of these platforms contain plug-in which is SEO friendly that can help you build a very huge traffic.
Recommend: - Blogger (organic traffic especially from Google).
Wordpress (all sort of traffic).

So if you are blogging to share ideas and information with friends and relatives, then I will suggest that you should go for free with either (Blogger or Wordpress) but when you are blogging to market your products or to make money then you should go for Wordpress.
