For the first time this year, prices of cars in the US have started going down across the board. So this is the best time to buy a car from the US as prices are bound to go up again in a few months, during the Christmas season. I currently have a list of 150 Honda Cars and Jeeps at auction. The list includes Accords, Civics, CR-Vs, Elements etc and their actual auction prices and pictures. For a copy of the list, email me at BizMotors@aol.com or drop your email address here and I will send it to you. Note: The list is on another website. The owners of Nairaland have previously asked me not to display the website here due to conflict of interest. To ensure that the list includes as many affordable cars as possible, I restricted the model year to 2005. So if you want something later than 2005, let me know. UPDATE: Some people have asked if the prices shown include shipping to Nigeria. No, they do not. To arrive at a final price, add the following: 1. Price of Car 2. $200 (Commission to auction company) 3. $400 (shipping to US Port. Maybe more depending on auction location) 4. $1200 Shipping to Nigeria 5. $500 Transaction fee (applies only if you pay for the car in full. It will be higher if you make a deposit of 50 or 60% since I will have to use my own funds to complete the purchase) 6. N250,000 or 350,000 for Lagos Clearing of cars and Jeeps respectively. That's all. You will not be asked to pay anything more. |
