Is a very sad situation. In this situation everyone is at fault with the federal government taking 25% of the blame, the robbers taking 25% of the blame, the police taking 25% of the blame, and lastly, the citizens taking 25% of the blame. I would not go into how everyone affects the situation but the police side first. If the police has no strategy to many different occurence in their playbook where a majority of the anticipating scenerios are happening daily then it needs a overhaul. Little efforts like working with what we have for now without the other technologies we need, will take us far and curb most of this madness. Things like containing situation, having basic neighborhood terrain maps either digital or manual drawing, neighborhood trust by always sharing their prevention ideas and how to act when something is going on and also letting the neighborhood/public ideas come by. These are just a few of what I think but we are in a sad state that should be called a state of emergency. May God not let Nigeria fall into the drain because of internal and external wickedness by its citizens.
