The African Petroleum Producers Association(APPA) an Intergovernmental Organisation seriving as a platform of Cooperation, collaboration and exchange of experience between African Petroleum Prodiucing Countries with Headquarters in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo is inviting application from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions at the African Petroleum Institute (AFPI), an organ of the Association.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
To particiapte and supervise the setting up of the Institute’s strategy, policies, work plans, activites, training programs design and implementation

Qualification Required

Holder of a relevant university degree: MS degree or PHD will be an added advantage
Excellent knowledge of English and French
Have at least 15 years of experience in the oil, gas or energy field

THE OPERATION MANAGER
Supervise the implementation and apllication of the Institute’s policy in all operational processes, after approval by its Board of Directors.

Qualification Required

Qualified in the area of engineering or various sector of geological sciences and scientific expertise
Excellent knowledge of English and French
Have at least 15 years of work experience.
Teaching at the university will be an added advantage

THE ACCOUNTANT OF THE AFRICAN PETROLEUM INSTITUTE
Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and audit control procedures

Qualification Required
Bachelor/Degree in Finance/Accounting
Have at least 10 years of experience in the financial and accounting fields
Certified CPA or CMA or equivalent

The candidate should be citizen of one of the member countries

– A letter presenting the motivation of the applicant
– A curriculum vitae of degree and work certificates
– Photocopies of valid passport or identity card
– A police record of the applicant, dated not more than (3) months

– Certified copies of degrees and work certificates dating less than three(3) months
– A copy of valid identity card or international passport
– An extract of police report dating less than three (3) months
– Copies of technical certifications obtained if any
– Any certifcation of training received from an internationally renowned centre
