In reponse to the thread which reads that our fore-fathers will all be doomed in Hell, I am of the opinion that most of our fore fathers will be accepted of God.The fact we need to know is that the judgement of God,though basically same, is based on the age or dispensation in which men live. 'Those who live before or without the Law will be judged without the law', says the Scriptures.Our fore fathers lived without the law(without the accurate knowledge of His will as contained in the Scriptures).Those who lived during the pre-mosaic era(the law had not been given at this time)or those who lived without the law before Jesus came will be judged by their conscience. Roman 2:12-15 says

"For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God,but the doers of the law who will be justified. For when Gentiles(our fore-fathers inclusive),who do not have the law ,by nature do what the law requires,they are a law to themselves,even though they do not have the law.They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts,while their conscience also bears witness,and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them"

Many years after the Ascension of Christ, Paul the Apostle went to Athens and preached Christ before the philosophical Areopagus and he told them pointblank by the Spirit of God that "The times of ignorance (about the true God) God overlooked,but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, because He has fixed (appointed) a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He has appointed;and of this He has given assurance to all (everybody in the world) by raising him from the dead, Act17:30-31."
God, in this dispensation (these last days), reveals Himself to the world through His Son, Jesus Christ. Hebrew 1:1-2 declares that "Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers( the Saints of old in the old covenant) by the Prophets, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son,whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world." If you accept the revelation of God to man in this adulaterous age by accepting and believing Christ, you will be accepted of God.Doing the will of God is more than being a committed and staunch member of a religious denomination. It is more than going to Church or any place of worship. Roman 14:17 asserts that 'the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness,and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost".

If we go strictly and literally by the Biblical (and the Quran) requirement for entrance into Heaven, I can assure you that NO SINGLE SOUL WILL SMELL THAT HEAVEN, we all gonna be barbecued in hell, all the 8 billion of us, no EXCEPTION.

There is no hell.Hell does not exist.So the question of whether our forefathers will go to hell just because they were no bible-thumpers is completely without meaning.

This was Why Christ was provided to lead as many to heaven. Christ Righteousness will lead us to heaven.
