By their fruits you shall know them - Matthew 7:15-20. You can distinguish between the righteous and the unrighteous by their fruits. The things that they do make them recognizable. More important the results of their work stand out.
In this write-up, we will focus on the marks of God’s people.
Christians have righteous characteristics.
• LOVE: One of the product of the Spirit is love - Galatians 5:22–25. This is love that gives even when it is not returned.
• Joy - Happiness or a calm delight
• Peace - A quietness that comes from harmony with God and man. It is the opposite of war.
• Patience - Longsuffering. The willingness to endure. It is shown by God towards us in giving us many opportunities to turn from sin. It is needed by us to deal with the shortcomings of our fellow men.
• Kindness - A gentle person who is kind and good
• Goodness - A generous person who is good. It is the opposite of evil.
• Faithfulness - A person of conviction who has his faith, trust, and confidence in God. It also refers to a person who is reliable and trustworthy.
• Gentleness - A gentle, humble person. He is the opposite of a hot-tempered man.
• Self-control - A person able to control his desires
• They possess the fear of God. - Malachi 3:16-18
• Christians are courageous – Psalms 46
