Of course the hype is over. I have long come to the realization that democrats and republicans are birds of the same feather who just use different approaches to lure in voters. At the end of the day, they are all greedy western imperialists who directly and indirectly support the rich while the middle class continues to shrink and the poor get poorer and continue to suffer.

Why do you want Africans miles across the atlantic to care about some US presidential election. You people give yourselves too much credit. If obama wins, what is in it for them?

I wonder, like what difference would Obama's reelection, do to the common man in Nigeria or even in Africa? Some Africans just feel like following the news would elevate theri image in public as being in the 'in crowd'
