URGENT VACANCY - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

A multi-sectoral consulting and training firm is in search of an experienced and high performing executive to fill the role of business development manager. The successful candidate would report to the director/country manager.

Job Description

• Develop marketing strategies that would help the organization meet financial targets and corporate objectives.
• Actively source for new clients to significantly grow the company’s market share, revenue generated and profitability.
• Lead and motivate direct reports to high performance.
• Cultivate a partnership relationship with clients and leveraging prevalent unique solutions and methodologies to address their business issues.
• Employ a full cycle and structured approach to project management to ensure unparalleled client satisfaction and project profitability.
• Collaborate with colleagues/partners in the offshore offices to leverage talents/resources in achieving the company’s global objectives.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Must have a Bachelor degree from a reputable institution. Possession of relevant professional qualification or an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience two of which must be in a leadership role. Training/facilitation and project management skills are an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, marketing skills, sales and relationship management skills.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity, outstanding personality and presence.
• Must be goal-driven, tenacious and a team player.
• Strategic thinking with organization and planning skills.
• Effective analytical, research and problem solving skills.
• Great initiative and creativity skills.
• Must be able to develop and apply excellent level of comfort with IT applications, especially Microsoft office, power point and excel.
• Proximity to the Island or Opebi is important.
