Those commercial bus drivers can also be very daring at times. Only yesterday morning at Epe I witnessed something similar, one truck driver carrying somne items refused to stop despite a gun-carrying mobile policeman's threat, including staying in front of the truck. The driver was adamant, struggling with the truck. Trust me, as a Nairalander that had read similar stories before that led to fatality, I don run eter bush(for fear of stray buullet) while the scene played out. The police guy fired a dummy bullet at the truck's tyre but it was harmless and the truck escaped. That was too daring of the driver, if you ask men knowing these mopols are always drunk.

This is so sad! If I were to hazzard a guess, the bus driver refused to be bullied off the road by the patrol van probably escorting some expatriates or some other high-paying customer and hence the `brush`. This is crazy! The police force is working personal security for private citizens, neglecting its civic duties and intimidating people on the streets, waving their guns at unarmed citizens to run them off the roads. And now even killing them? This is madness! Especially now that they've have become very affordable and one out of twenty private road users can afford to cruise around with a friggin circus. They don't serve the public, privatize the force and let's know they're muscles for hire!

one reason am always glad when they get killed in batches, like per patrol van by thieves.

pathetic. Similar case to the one the happened in my vicinity. But the policeman did not live to tell his story to his colleagues. He was butchered at the spot by angry neighbours.
