There seem to be an imminent economic recession in our body polity judging by the flurry of activities in the last couple of weeks.
Shell has announced that it would cut jobs, Conoil just laid off some staff and authoritatively many banks have been right/down sizing since November. Sincerely, it must have been a gloomy xmas for some families . Sterling sacked several of its key managers a day to New Year. Forget the NSE and SEC and whatever figure CBN has been reeling out.
The Niger Delta issue has brought the country to knees economically save for excess crude earnings, we would have been feeling the crunch. This is coming at a time when a Secretary to the Federal Govt- Kingibe was telling the National Assembly that it is a taboo for a political office holder not to have retinue of cars and other perks of office at Govt's expense.
the crisis in the oil and gas sector would soon be felt by other critical sectors of our economy and my sincere advice is that govt should eat the humble pie and find a lasting solution to the lingering problem.

We may not necessary have Recession in Nigeria.

But the people leading Nigeria from long time to the current YAR A'DULL are intellectually bankrupt.

What is the vision and action plan for short, medium and long term to energies a weary people. No uniterrrupted electricity, No Transport network- especially good roads linking the country together.

A blind man cannot lead 2 eye man even in this day of digital technology.

We have failed leaders and only the special grace of God will not make us a failed nation.

When you have a president who is surrounded by people who just want to play politics ans are more concerned by their own pockets, I am sorry the future is only in the hands of GOD.
