The referee killed this game. If Shelvey's was a straight red, Van Persie's was too. And the ref only gave a freekick and yellow card against RVP because the whole stadium screamed at him. If Valencia's was a penalty, Suarez' and/or Sterling's were too.

On a positive note, Suso's made first team. Gerrard's goal made me happy, not because we were leading with 10 men, but because Suso made it. Makes me really happy that we have a great young squad. Rodgers should have gotten us a clinical striker with the money he got Sahin with. With Suso now a first teamer Sahin is now supplus to requirements.

After reducing LFC to 10, they got 2 clean penalty, not A̶̲̥̅​ single was given.
Valencia dived and he was immediately awarded penalty. That's why manu players go brain dead in champion's league when there is no referee to wear their jersey.
