I was mailed to send a scanned copy of my

1.credit card(last 4 digits to be veiled for security reason)and
2.A government issued identification card

I have the credit card with me, but i dont know the type(s) of government issued identification card they really accept.
Can I scan Voter registration card because i dont have driver license or national ID card yet.
More so, What other government issued identification card can I use?

I don'think voter's card is an ID, not even in Nigeria will it be accepted as an Identification Card. Try Nigerian banks and see.

You should get one of these:
1) International Passport
2) Drivers License
3) National ID

use your voter's card, visa and scanned copy of your transaction history from your bank bearing "hostgator & reference number" your account will be activated instanta dude

I used a Drivers License on my last verification. Worked for me.

Not sure about the Voter's card option but the Driver's license or International Passport work 99.9% of the time.

A Voters Card is an Identification card issued by the government and this fact is recognized world wild. The reason why Banks don't accept it for now is because what we currently have or have been give is a temporary voters card, I think the current news is that the permanent ones will be issued soon. Fortunately, Hostgator doesn't know these temporary thingy, so have been verifying most accounts that use voters card as their Id.
