why bother about statistics when the facts are clear. . . the country is in darkness, generators are suppose to act as back-up where there is power outage. But in our dearest country, the Citizen generate their own electricity, while government provide back-up?

Now ask your self, how do citizen generate electricity it's simple. . . get a generator period. Even the average man has one. Is not about whether he made up the figures or not, the question is would be have any need for generator when there is constant electricity??

If we spend this 1.6trn on Solar Panels annually we can have 24 hours of electricity for free 365 days per years in Nigeria.

what other proof do u need?
between january and october, 2011, at least 30million units of generators were imported into the country.
'i pass my neighbour alone accounted for 30-34% of the quantity.
u may not believe it but some households have 3-4 different sizes of generators, each with its use at different times of the day.
we aint even talking about industries/SMEs yet.
believe me the statistics by Dr Kabir is even moderated.
God bless you my brother, you just spoke my mind. Me I have 4 generators running shifts in my house alone, talk less of my neighbours and other relatives.
I think the guy was even too fair with his submissions if you ask me

The man's conclusion is apparently based on the amount spent by Nigerian households. That, however, doesn't tell the full story. What about our offices? Churches? Mosques? Hospitals? Stadiums? Events centres? Hotels?

We spend way more than N1.6 trillion.
