Hello, Please for those Nigerians living in New Jersey, which I know there are a lot, could you advice me on the safety of living in Newark. I recently graduated from University of Washington in June in Aeronautics, and I will be moving to New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) to start my doctorate. I have heard so much bad news from friends but I need to hear also from a Nigerian person's perspective on the crime rate. I spent most of my life on the Northwest. Please drop your advice. |

I do not live in NJ. However, I have been there and flown through Newark, NJ Liberty Airport several times. You do not have to live in Newark. There are several towns/suburbs around NJ/NY/PA that are close enough. |
