Admittedly the House of Reps doesn't like Femi Otedola, the businessman who was the driving force behind the disclosure and subsequent disgrace of one of it's old shining star, Farouk Lawan. In a display of sentimental grudge, the House of Reps has decided that it will constitute a committee to investigate the payment of about N141billion debt by Otedola to Assest Management Company of Nigeria( AMCON). Recall that barely 48hours ago, CEO of AMCON Mustafa Chike-Obi announced that "we have observed with interest the payment of 140.9billion, being outstanding debts of a businessman, Mr. Femi Otedola, to AMCON. The question now is, is the HOUSE ON REVENGE MISSION?

This guys in the green chamber are bunch of unserious people. So because Otedola exposed their member, they want to rope him in? Is this how the country will grow? Instead of celebrating Otedola for doing what a law abiding ought to do in all similar cases, they are bent on working hard to see that Otedola is floored too. Nigerians are watching, shamelessness doesn't pay.

They are set of complete mor0ns. Why does AMCON - a company with a board of directors managing it - need to inform the national assembly when they decide to recoup funds from a debtor? Will the national assembly now be consulted in each and every decision AMCON makes?

I suggest that when next AMCON needs to buy toilet rolls for their loos, they should inform the National Assembly to select the right type since these legislators are completely jobless.
