When is Nigeria going to have a 3 digit number to call in case of emergency?

If GEJ can not give us that now that we have all the emergency problem of the world (Security, crime, flood, accidents, plane crashes, etc), when does he intend to set it up?

Is it so impossible/hard to get or is the government that clueless?
There is no way I can call those long 080 numbers with a gunman at my door
It may not work fine from onset, but we can always start it and improve it over time

This is 2012 for God's sake: UK 999, US 911, Trinidad 999/990, etc - Nigeria 0803-bla-bla-bla-bla (hot numbers)

That is why gunmen shots for hours at a crime scene because no one knows what number to call

If the government is serious about fighting the current security challenges, 3 digit emergency has to be put in place now.
