The chief of army staff.LT.iheigirika has done well and deserves to retain his post. I'm suprised he wasn't made the chief of defence staff. Maybe ola saad ibrahim, was his (ihejirika's) senior at NDA. Since ola sa'ad ibrahim who also has done well, but not as good as ihejirika, seniority remains the logical reason. |

Nope Bro.....Ola Sa'ad Ibrahim was Course 25 while Onyabor Azubuike Ihejirika was Course 17 at DNA. Ihejirika seniors Ibrahim but it happens like that sometimes(1999 to 2003, VLS Malu and Ogohi). Everyone here at DHQ is surprised that C in C retains COAS cos it has never happened before, but it's The President's call......I wish them all best of luck. I pray that God takes control in Northern Nigeria...Long Live Armed Forces, Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria.

kettykin: Ola Sa'ad Ibrahim is from Ilorin, Kwara State......OA Ihejirika is from Abia State......Badeh is from Adamawa State and Ezeoba former COA at DHQ is from Delta, northern Delta I think........We are all Nigerians Igbos or not.....Yoruba from Osun State just left the position of CDS and another Yoruba Ola Sa'ad Ibrahim from Ilorin has been promoted to CDS(Admiral, 4-star General). Let's forget about ethnicity and face the real problem of Nigeria.....Cheers. 23 Likes |

Konmight: The correction is much appreciated bro. You mentioned "everyone here at DHQ", so it's safe for me to say that your work at DHQ. I have a question. 1) Why is it that you guys do not release photos of the nigerian army to the public. Good Public relation in this period of crisis would help foster / build trust between the army and the public. Only 8 photos were released by the nigerian army, after you guys had a successful army day celebration a few weeks back? |
