So far so good, bought a new laptop during d service year, bought an ipad, doing my NIM And Oracle certifications.God has been faithful.

Pls to some of us who dont save money, ill advice pls try and start. Nigeria is in a sorry state, (and if we r to b honest with ourselves, there is no hope) .its tym we grab our destinies in our hands. Try and save something. I know all will be well......I see light at the end of this tunnel. Peace.

Abeg there is different way to save. You invest ur savings on ur future now or u save d money and still use it for d same purpose in future at a later date. This savings u ppl r talking abt is not for everyone. It depend on many many factors, some ppl save money while they r hungry during service all in d name of saving. Some others r so stingy to themselves tat they cant afford to take Good care of themselves body wise all in d name of savings. The list is endless cos i have seen and i'm seeing it right now. Like i said SAVING is personal not a must.

my brother i jst tire. PPL wey dey save money pass na ladies because you know Why? They r so scared of d future. As long as u v a good result, well prepared cv and you v invested in urself. God is not asleep a job wil come after service. It might not be d multimillion naira job we r all looking for but a job tat can keep you going until d next better job comes. So save if you can, but if you cant use d money for smthn good in ur life. Tats all tat matters.

Moneybag is right. But at the end of the service year, one would realize that no matter how much he must have saved, it would just be too paltry for anything especially after all the spending on renting apartment, tp's n all.
Since this Country is heading virtually nowhere, I have resolved to cross Seas. My to do list before Feb 2014 is simple: Renew my Int'l Passport, pay for my Int'l academic transcript, and sit for toefl or ielts (English proficiency test). I'm left with just two out of the three.
I'd advocate same to any one especially if his/her grades are good. It seems Nigeria is not realizing the rate at which brain drain is occurring in it's land. So many countries are willing to pay to gather best brain from around the globe... Sorry not sorry, but 9ja is being held hostage by some heartless blood sucking demons cutting across both religions and they're not ready to let go just yet.
Take stock of the situation in the country. The sooner the better!

ooh I see, never knew that PPA pay 9k. Never get upset over it .

So far so good ......my NYSC achievement, was able to work my service to ogun state since I stays @lagos whr I was brought up ,Luckily for me was posted to Abeokuta,Kuto. I go to PPA and CDs mnday and Wednesday respectively , spending roughly 3500k every week total of 14k a mnth for transportation Lagos to Abeokuta. I enrolled for NIM (reg and study pack)10k ,passed the required number subjects and pay 15k for induction that will take place 17th Oct @NAN National Theater . Pay 5k for collection of my BSc cert ,4300 as acct balance . Hurray .
