Position: Marketing Manager

Rocket Internet is the most successful and fastest growing global internet incubator. Our group has built over 100 companies in 43 countries and succeeded with dozens of exits. Our successes include Groupon International (formerly Citydeal), eBay Germany (formerly Alando), global e-commerce leaders such as Zalando, and many others. The founders behind Rocket were also early investors in Facebook, LinkedIn, and Zynga. We are seeking outstanding candidates to join our expanding team as account manager.

What we need -
• Flexible, adaptive and versatile
• A minimum of 2 years marketing experience in the restaurant industry
• A bachelor’s degree
• Both Online and Offline marketing experience
• Proven ability to communicate well
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate internationally
• Multitask and perform projects under tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
• Work under little supervision and be a team player
• Technical acumen
Roles and responsibilities but not limited to
• Devising strategies to drive online traffic to our website.
• Managing a target-driven sales/customer service team.
• Strategising on the marketing of the website.
• Generating publicity for the business in all forms of media (radio, print & online)
• Managing social media
• Approving all content.
• Expense management, working within a marketing budget
• Reporting to the Executive Team
• Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
• Devise campaigns that can promote the product whilst collaborating with clients
