A bus conveying passengers just sumersaulted at Costain bustop

A commercial bus just summersalted at Costain bus-stop in Ebutte-Meta region of Lagos.

The said bus was conveying passengers and smmersalted in full glare of commuters at the junction says an eye-witness.

The bus “landed on the conductor and another lady, a passenger. It was spilling, thankfully, diesel.

Folks dashed for the scene immediately. And there I saw the Nigerian spirit!


In what seemed like a telepathic agreement, a group of young men gathered around d bus, bent under d side on d ground, and started pushing!

The men were pushing, and one of them sincerely praying to God for mercy on the people the bus was resting upon.

The push was tough. The bus wasn’t a Danfo, it was just a big bus. At a stage, it started coming back, almost overpowering the pushers.

The clear danger here was that it could fall again and then finally kill those under it. So the spirit of emergency took over.

The push was intensified. More hands joined. And…at last…the bus was raised.
