@Pysam: The African teams will resume their World Cup qualifying matches in March; mostly on March 22. That's also the date Nigeria will play host to Kenya.

Germany 4 - 4 Sweden. Germany's defense totally collapsed in the last 30 minutes! Mertesacker and co still have a long way to go.
Poland v England is postponed due to heavy torrential rain in Warsaw. The match has been rescheduled for today at 4pm (Nigerian time).
France's Olivier Giroud rescued a precious point for the 'Les Blues' against Spain. That draw halts Spain's 24 consecutive wins in either Euro/World Cup qualifiers!

You're welcome, Pysam. England's 1-1 draw with Poland ensures that the three lions (England) remain top of the group. However, they could be overtaken by Montenegro, who play against San Marino next month. The almost unanimous opinion of the English press and fans was that their team put in a lacklustre performance and needs to improve its style of play before the main tournament.

@ Pysam: As for the Super eagles, I have no doubt that we will top the group. But I'll be jittery during the play-off phase, where we'll meet one of the other 9 group winners in a home and away format. I hope we'll meet the likes of Gabon or some other 'lesser' team that is currently leading their group. Anyway, as you rightly pointed out, the fighting spirit of the boys and their skills should secure World cup qualification, regardless of the opposition.
