Chelsea drew the fist blood and what a goal it was! Eden Hazard's corner from the left is headed to the edge of the area by William Gallas and Gary Cahill was present to absolutely lash a volley past Brad Friedel and into the roof of the net. Not bad for a centre-back. The shot takes a slight deflection off Steven Caulker, which may have helped it beat the Spurs keeper but that doesn't diminish the strike

Tottenham then returned back into the game in the opening minutes of the second half. The ball was swung to the back post where Jan Vertonghen is able to hook it back before William Gallas glances a header in. That will make amends for his role in Chelsea's opener. AVB's side levelled up

Moments later, Spurs turned the game around. Aaron Lennon seemed to scuff his low driven cross but it falls perfectly at the feet of Jermain Defoe to lash his shot into the net with Andre Villas-Boas screaming delight on the touchline.

The Blues level as a cross is only half-cleared by William Gallas and then side-footed into the bottom corner by Juan Mata.

And in the 90 minute, the Game was over. Kyle Walker dithers in possession on the right wing and is dispossessed by Juan Mata, who cuts in to the box before rolling the ball across goal to present Daniel Sturridge with the simplest finish of his career. Mata was superb to turn this game back in Chelsea's favour in the second half. The Blues have now gotten 22 points from a possible 24 this Premier League season.
