I have noticed that male babies suck breast more than the female ones. When I had my first daughter she did not suck as much as my first son is doing now.

I want to know why the male child suck more or could it be why they still suck even at old age?

Generally, men eat more than women, so its still d same,afterall,male babies are also young(er) men, so its natural 4 them to suck more since dt bosom milk serve as their food.
My opinion,anyway.

Cos the male child is using the mama's bosom to practise to become a professional before venturing to the world,when he would come across many bosom:pawpaw shape,yam shape,mango shape,orange shape,egg shape,and slipper shape.

It made me remember a girl I sucked her bosom so much that she asked if I was denied bosom by my mum,when I was a baby.

Anyway,scientifically,male babies are more active than female,both physicaly and metabolically. So to keep up with the higher metabolism male babies suck actively.

The nourishment and healing potentials of breastmilk is not only beneficial to babies but also to men. This was disclosed by the project Coordinator of Colostrum International, a non-governmental organisation, Dr. Bunmi Ogundimu, during a media chat to emphasise the enormous merits of breast milk.

Dr. Ogundimu highlighted the benefits of breast milk, which range from nutritional value to healing ingredients. She stressed that it was goodfor every living being irrespective of age or sex.

She further explained that the milk contains certain antibiotic and also boost immunity in the body system.

But she quickly warned that it can be contaminated if handled with unclean hands.

According to her: "Breast milk is not only good for babies, it is also very nutritious for adult. Husbands, l advise you to start sucking from today, if you have not been doing so. You (husbands) own the breast and it is good for you," she urged.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ogundimu lamented the rate at which breastfeeding has dropped in Nigeria recently.

This she described as alarming and disturbing. She noted that breastfeeding activity was 43 percent in 2005 in Nigeria but has drastically reduced to 17 percent at the moment.

The coordinator however attributed the unhealthy development to fashion trend, which she said most Nigerian women are pursuing at the expense of their children.

Hear her, "this is a sad development. Women nowcherish fashion, work and social functions more than their own children.

"This is the most disastrous and height of ignorance that must be corrected urgently. Why should mothers be chasing the 'world' at the detriment of their own babies", she queried.

Dr. Ogundimu advocated for breast milk to be produced in large quantity and to be stored in banks.

She implored nursing mothers to make it a point of duty to donate breast milk to the motherless babies.

She averted the insinuation that a baby cannot consume breast milk of another mother.

The coordinator revealed that China is currently exporting breast milk to earn income for her country.

Again the more the suck the less the possibility of cancer.
So husbands suck,kids suck and save a life!
