The International Food Photography Day is taking place on Wednesday 14 November 2012. The aim of the global competition is to celebrate the art of food photography in all its forms.

Abujafood.com in collaboration with @NJClicks is celebrating the International Food Photography Day here in Abuja through a food photography competition which will run from the 10th to the 28th of November 2012.

The competition is online and open to anyone who loves food and/or photography to capture very appetizing photos of food with either the use of their mobile phones, digital cameras or any other portable device that can capture pictures accurately. The key is to enable us to taste and feel the essence of your food through your photo.

Anyone interested in participating can do so by posting his/her entries in one of two ways;

Or send an email to info@abujafood.com containing either an attachment photo or a link to an online photo with title of the email being “Food Photo Contest”
Via Twitter using the hash tag #AbujaFoodPhoto2012 and mentioning @Abujafood with link to your photo e.g #AbujaFoodPhoto2012 ---- @Abujafood your link to your photo (This option is suitable if you have online photos already on pinterest, facebook or instagram etc)

3rd Prize: 5 winners each will win N1000 recharge cards

Guidelines;

Only one photo per entry

Only Food photographs are allowed

All enteries must be original, stolen photos online will be disqualified

The food photo must be appealing to the eye

The winners will be announced on the 30th of November 2012 and their prizes will be awarded immediately.
