for those of you saying we should take a lesson from madiba and dont stay long in office. Well you have to know that naija is not one of those african countries where leaders stay in power for long. You know its just not possible! In our 52years, jonathan is our 14th leader. That means an average of 3.8years per leader. And the longest an individual stayed in office at a stretch is 9years. Thats a year more than a democratically elected president is allowed to spend. So you can see its others that should learn lessons from us

I feel you, other co-prisoners of conscience like Walter Sisulu, Andrew Mlangeni, Ahmed Kathrada, Raymond Mhlaba including Oliver Tambo and Steve Biko, those who kept the heat on while he was in prison deserve some mention too but in Olympic of life leader takes all.

He has many streets, townships, a municipality, etc named after him and the others its just streets and hospitals nje? Next thing you know the country will be renamed Republic of Nelson Mandela. Safa! He didn't fight single-handedly angithi? They should all be honoured equally. My two cents
