*^^ my post to Pdude was deleted by the mods and I wish thy hadn't. The curses I rained on him will forever follow him except God is asleep. How can you tell a person who wants to commit suicide to go ahead, publicity stunt or not? Is this what Nigerians have turned into? Monsters? Do we have even an iota of conscience in us?

The friends of the said guy that died in December opened a page to express their grief and a fellow man(one of those that commented) told them to always remember even when they are in bed, eating ,sleeping etc that the blood of this guy is on their heads because when he came out and posted this, If one just one had called him on the phone or visited him who knows, they might have saved a life for God. Many cases like this, whether publicity stunt or not, clear your conscience and never support suicide. I wept when I read some comments on this thread and it was with those tears I replied Pdude. My husband came to me to find out what was happening, I showed him the thread and his first reaction was that of shock. Even whilst we were watching the news he kept looking at me and saying for real? He has also given me permission to contact you off Nairaland via yahoo messenger. I will add you sometime and we can talk.

Please whether it is publicity stunt or not, I don't care. All I know is I see suicide and I am not supporting it. You are a very cute boy and I am not kidding. Your skin looks like that of a baby, smooth . We love you but God loves you more.

Its traumatising and a whole lot depressing reading things like this.
Everybody has challenges, suicide will only creat more problems for those who love you.
I look at myself and I wonder why inspite of the terrible and horrendous storms, failures, rejections and many other ills I wallow in daily, nay, per minute, suicide never crossed/crosses my mind. It has to do with my view about life. The present is now, the future is unknown and very dynamic.

I have also a friend on facebook who works with a multinational-the dream of many graduates, she makes serious money and you would think money was it. She is a role model and without stress/problem on facebook, but she updated in sept she was tired of life. I didnt see the update early but when I did, it was like 3days after and I quickly sent her a message, called up her cousin who was 'our mutual friend' and he told me she actually attempted to kill herself by drinking a chemical but that she was currently being stabilised in a hospital. I say thank God.
People are getting attracted to suicides recently but its not an option.

God bless u a zillion times for the comment above. If not for Roland17, who left what he was doing, and spoke to me at length like an elder brother, we might prolly be reading another chapter now. Before i posted this stuff on Nairaland, y'all should know it has gotten so unbearable; and there was no other option left from my point of view. The most hurting of all comments was from pDude; he called it a publicity stunt. I would never forgive u for that comment; no; not even in the next lifetime. Ur comment might not mean anytin to you; but it meant a whole lot to me.
Who plays publicly with matters of death? But i've gotten over it anyways . . talked to a couple of people
who are very mature than the worthless shrimps we have here on NL who were giving the greenlight to kill myself.

@OP, nothing, no amount of frustration, pains or problem is worth dying for. Believe me I've been there and when I look back now, I feel totally stoopid to think that i imagined suicide was a solution.

Country hard, people fail, heck at times you even query Gods existence , grace and love but the truth remains, You are precious to someone somewhere, every problem has an expiry date.

When you are overwhelmed with problems reach out to people. Even if it means creating a new id, do so. Share your problem, God might send you a helper when and where you least expected.
