Malian top military officer said he had no confidence in Nigerian soldiers and called them undisciplined and incompetent, he further stressed out in a press interview that nigeria would only do minial military jobs as manning checkpoints and loading trucks as the were not capable of fighting the islamist extremist and jihadist in the battle front. The military officer said though their military was not much better it was well trained by the EU and could harness the manace.


Nigerian minister of foreign Affairs ambassados Olugbenga Ashiru said on wednesday that Nigeria and the ECOWAS will intervene in Mali because of the security challenge arising from the Boko Haram - malian linked insurgency. He also said that dispite doubts that the was no going back in implementing the united Nations security council Resolution 2071 for military and other intervention and assistance to Mali. However countries like france have demanded swift military intervention in mali and all hope rest on the aclaimed "undiscipline Nigerian soldiers" for a military intervention.
