What do you mean by 'take care of'?

In Islam, Muslims are not under any obligation to provide the every need of their Imams and the Imams are not prohibited from working and earning money to take care of themselves because they are Imams.

Imams should also work to cater for themselves and their families and not just sit down and expect their congregation to provide for them. If the congregation voluntarily decides to give any type of material gifts to the Imam, then well and good, nothing is wrong with that, but they are not under compulsion to do that.

By the way, most of these pastors who you claim that Christians 'take care of' are actually thieves and fraudsters. They demand tithes (which Christians are not supposed to pay) and other dues from the members of their churches and enrich themselves from the cash gotten this way. It is not as if church members love their pastors soooo much and therefore decide to take care of them by buying them things.
