During my OND am an Electrical/electronics Student. After my I.T i tried both D.E and HND in which i was given admission for both..
But now MY GREATEST PROBLEM
1.Direct entry i put in for Elect/Elect but was given Mathematics 200level at the University of Ibadan
2.HND i put in for Elect/Elect and got admission to study Elect/Elect at the Federal poly Offa.

Pls my fellow people if u were in my shoes which would you go for,kindly state reasons for your answer

What exactly is ur core area of focus that u wanna have career on? I believe if u can answer this, then u have no decision problem?

Well u r correct. The fact remains discrimination of hnd holders will only occur to those who accepts it.

I have hnd elec elect with IT cvertifications and a well paying IT job.

Above all Gods mercy and grace is the ultimate

Sincerely here are some facts
Hnd holders might ve to do pgd b4 going 4 masters depending on the course.
Hnd holders are put @ level 7 while bsc holders level 8 in ministries.

Hnd holders might be able to apply for scholarships

But

Practically hnd holders r better off
They ve the opp of practical experience b4 graduation.
But not all employers know this.

Mayb u cld do math @ bsc level n elect @ masters level.

Ur choice

Follow ur spirit and mind.it all depends on God .most HND holders are doing well in multinationals and oil companies likewise BSC.BSC is good and at d same time is very good if u further in mathematics to master level.but d fact still remains dat making it in life all depend on God inrespective of qualification.I've seen a family whereby d richest among dem is d one dat work in exon mobile with OND in elect./elect although he later have BSC in economics but till tomorrow he use OND to work.just pray and let God direct u and follow ur mind.BSC in mathematics is good but dat is not d guarntee 4 success is only God.

Lovely post. I have an HND in Elect/Elect Engr. Am not regretting my choice of course of study. Am currently serving and amongst both foreign and Naija schooled graduates i have a strong voice. Believe in yourself and Ask God for help everyother thing wld fall in place.
